We are starting to develop a product based on an STM32L476JGY6TR.
Part of the system would be dealing with a mono audio stream at 6kHz (sampling frequency).
I've read in the datasheet that this ST chip offers some audio capabilities using SAI interfaces.
My question is:
What can we expect to do? The minimum we need is getting the signal on the PDM input, most likely adjusting the audio level and output it on an other PDM output. Would the STM32L476JGY6TR be able to do that? How high would be the CPU usage? When I do some calculation, I have the feeling we would be pretty far from using the whole CPU time. Am I correct?
