I have recently purchase ST-LINK V3 MODS

I am trying to connect it using SWD protocol using STM32CUBE PROGRAMMER software but it gives error DEV_TARGET_CMD_ERR

if i use STLINK V2 then it works fine.

how can i solve this?

is there any connection problem?

my connection pins on ST-LINK V3 MODS

pin no--------function

left side of STLINK V3

4 - T_JTMS/T_SWDIO

8 - GND

13 - T_JCLK/T_SWCLK

right side of STLINK V3

30 - T_Vcc

Not at 24 MHz, try 1 or 2 MHz

Doesn't have buffers, doesn't need target voltage

still not connecting

basically it is a clock speed issue

out put voltage and current of STLINK V3 is not sufficient for higher clock speed?

i have placed cable to connect my board with STLINK V3 cable length is (30 cm).

how can i increase clock speed of 1-2 MHz.

ST LINK V2 works fine with 4MHz but ST LINK V3 works fine at 5KHz with same board and cable length.
