New Custom STM32H743BI board PCB ST-Link "Error: No STM32 target found" ? Need Help!

Hi Everyone,

Hope you are doing well.

I am not able to connect my new custom board based on STM32H743BI with STM32CubeProgrammer using STLINK-V3SET. and get the "Error: No STM32 target found" when i try to connect.

0693W00000ANkMsQAL.pngAs suggested in different threads i have confirmed the following:

  • Reset is pulled high
  • Boot0 is pulled low
  • VDD is stable at 3..28V at all desired pins of the board
  • VCAP 1&2 connected to 2.2uF capacitors showing voltage of 1.01V.
  • VDDA is 3.28V, VSSA is Grounded,

I am using a 10 pin SWD connector.

The Circuit diagram is shown below

Given the low voltage reported by the programmer, you'll probably want to double check the orientation and connector you have for the SWD cable.

Make sure that Pin#1 matches properly, and the connector isn't rotated/backward

Check the pin numbering as laid out on the PCB

You made my day.

it was the problem of connector footprint. it was supposed to be mirrored vertically. Now i am able to connect and programmed the MCU.

Thanks again
