Is it possible to change the name that the STLINK-V3MODS shows in windows explorer to something other than STLINK_V3P?

In Win10, IIRC the name in the INF file always is shown in the UI, except of some hidden places such as "devices and printers" and "Details/Bus reported name" in dev. manager.

So, look for the INF file of the st-link.

But changing it can be not feasible because of high cost of signing.
