Pls suggest suitable NFC antennas and antenna cable part numbers for ST25R3916B reader

Hi I am developing a NFC reader design based on ST25R3916B chip. PCB design is in progress. Due to mechanical constraints, NFC antenna would not be in this PCB. So can you pls suggest suitable antenna part number with size more than 50mmX50mm and cable connector assembly part number to connect this antenna to reader PCB. I would like to use around 200mm cable length for connecting antenna to reader.

Dear Dilip,

 

having a dedicated antenna is not an issue at all.

Please have a look at AN5592.

It explains how to do your own dedicated antenna. Same principle can be done with any commercial 50 Ohm NFC antenna.

Our antenna matching tool helps you calculating the correct matching network to turn your PCB antenna into a 50 Ohm antenna.
