information about the standards (radio equipment, EN 301489-1)

As the radio equipment standards are very important for entering EU, CN, and USA markets, could you help to communicate with the supplier to provide the information about the standards that must be confirmed as the radio equipment? Such as EN 301489-1.

Thanks a lot for the support

Hi,

Unfortunately there is no easy universal answer because it depends on the final product.

To get a complete accurate answer, you have to present the product to an accredited laboratory (Notified Body) that will evaluate the directives and standards to be used.

This said, we can generally consider that NFC products have to follow the RED directives.

You can also check some of our boards on st.com, this will gives you examples of standards used:

For an NFC reader: https://www.st.com/en/evaluation-tools/steval-25r3916b.html#documentation -> in the "EU declaration of conformity" you will see the list of standards

For a Dynamic Tag : https://www.st.com/en/ecosystems/x-nucleo-nfc07a1.html#documentation
