Hey guys. We are trying to drive a 350 watt scooter sensored bldc motor.we use common circuits available online and we use gate drivers(ir2103) with 6 n channel mosfets to swith between phases.In every step we pull one phase high and one low and the other floating.Our driver works no load but in case of load it sounds very badly and the low side mosfets burn after a while(get very warm and burn)but the high sides wont get warm.
We have another chinese driver that has pwm on the 3 phase in the same time and its rotating the rotor by changing duty cycle(no phase is floating at any time). With this driver motor works nicely.
What method of driving is t is?Has anyone any documents about this method?
