We are using the ST3115 on our product and we are facing sometimes some strange behaviors on gauge reported SOC vs OCV values according to the current flowing in/out the battery.
Until now we are using the ST3115 always in mixed mode.
It's told in the datasheet that the ST3115 gauge mixed mode handles both OCV and coulomb counter measures but it's told also that there can be some smart switch inside the gauge according to the current consumption.
How the switch occurs and using which threshold ? is it a configurable threshold ?
Is it using the relaxation counter ? This relaxation is not well documented, can you please detail about it ?
