Hi

I have STICK programer and MCu ST7FMC2S6

I want program it by STVP. MCu is unprogramed completly new.In configuration of Visual programer is available only option STICK->ICP mode(not ICP OPT Enable or Disable) for my MCu.

How must I conect pins 9 and 7 in header? I tried it by four ways (connected one of them or unconected) but error message was executed>

> Blank checking section [8000-DFFF] of PROGRAM MEMORY area...

Error : Cannot communicate with the device ! Option Bytes are Enabled on the device.

Check the ICC cable connection and check all the needed pin connections on the ICP connector.

conector is good all signals goes through the cable

Did someone program ST7MC by STICK?

Can someone help me?

thanks for reply soon

Please, try it and veriy if all works fine.

Hallo thank's for reply.

Direct connection on this pins is established.

I don't know what you mean by VDDa what supply is it?

My opinion is that fail would bee in clock or VDDa (Because I don't know what is it:).

How can I recognize if it is OK?

Osciloscope is quite old and show something like this-> see attache.

Is another way.

I haven't another MCu only this one and STICK is new.

All seems good except my clock source.

All VDDs are OK.

Do you have any suggestion how can I generate external clock?

I used ceramic resonator but I changed it for connection with

crystal and operational amplifier which I saw in some book.

I connected it to OSC1 pin and OSC2 to the ground.

But I think it doesn't work too.

Maybe from my PC via serial port would bee best.

I can't find any solution of this but I'm still looking for.
