I am developing a control system, for an industrial doser, for this I use a stepper motor, of 5.6amp, 0.5 ohm, 3.6mh and a KE .233.
I have all the system implemented, hardware and software.
To tune the engine I used the EVLPOWERSTEP01 development tools with the STVAL-PCC009V2 interface.
And the SPINFamily Evaluation Tool 3.2 software.
With these tools I have tried to optimize the operation of the engine, it is OK in CURRENT mode, but in VOLTAGE mode the consumption is too high (1.4 amp without torque) so the engine gets too hot, also I do not get large RPM in VOLTAGE mode, so I'm using CURRENT mode, this way the bikes is noisier and I do not know how to activate the stall detection.
For it would be very good to be able to have a base configuration for this type of engine, and from this configuration try to debug my parameters.
For the project it is very interesting to be able to detect the blockage of the engine, in these moments they are doing it with a turn sensor, which complicates the design.
I would appreciate very much that you contribute what you can to improve the system.
