I have this chip on a board LD2985BM50R. how can I verify the mark on top of the chip is marching the chip? it is really funny that the mark wasn't mentioned in the data sheet.
Thank you,
David

The LD2985BM50R has the marking B550, which is also on the label of the bag/box with which the board was equipped.

if you could provide a generic way to find the Mark from data sheet or website, that will be even better.

It is a long standing annoyance that ST doesn't provide the SMD markings in datasheet! That data is not some commercial secret, but is effectively a shortened part number. Why it is not written in datasheet as other manufacturers do?
