Hello team, I was looking for a battery monitoring IC, I was going through STC3117, I have two questions, For what type of battery, this IC can be used? And Can we monitor the battery parameter "in live"?

Welcome, @CK.2, to the community!

you put the question into the wrong category "Legace MCUs", therefore moved to "Battery Management".

The STC3117 are targeted for Li-Ion and Li-Po batteries and, as the datasheet says:

It provides accurate battery state-of-charge (SOC) monitoring, tracks battery parameter changes with operation conditions, temperature, and aging, and allows the application to get a battery state-of-health (SOH) indication.

So, yes, you can monitor the battery parameters live.

Good luck!
