Posted on May 17, 2011 at 11:51Since November 2007, I have been reporting a problem to ST whereby an unjustifiable STALL is observed on the USB bus when a uPSD34xx is connected on the same USB as a Mac keyboard. Obviously, this causes USB communication to that endpoint to cease resulting in a failure of our product. I have had an ST engineer confirm that ''After analysis of your code and USB log you send me I have to say that your application shouldn't respond with a STALL during the communication and the traffic you observe on the USB is strange''. Unfortunately ST are not investigating the issue any further because they say ''We haven't any Mac computer''.
Does anyone know a contact at ST that might help us get pass this obstacle? We have a service card which allegedly gets us ''preferred'' support, but this has proved valueless.
I can provide details of how to reproduce this problem if anyone else is similarly concerned about this serious issue.
