1. A deviate work of the original ST7 programmer for programming the uCST72F62 family of USB microcontrollers which I use.
2. Original Flashbash firmware was not programming this IC. In the process of debugging it I ended writing my own. The PC portion is in VB and device portion in C using cosmic compiler. I was able to successfully programme the uC.
Known issues:
1. RS232 detection sometimes takes multiple attempts.
2. IccReceiveByte and IccSendByte sometime get into deadlock and requres power cycling FlashBashR
3. Communication is a little slow - about 1mS to read a byte, 8sec to read a 8K uC.
4. A lot of featuers in the original version are not supported.
5. Unable to get to power off FlasBashR using the onboard switch.
Yet this could be good starting point to enter into the world of ST7 flash programming!
And lasly acknowledgement to Sjo. This is a derivative work of Sjo's original work and I appreciate the amount of work he has put into it.
