uPSD3254-BV-24U6 burned when using the Flash link to program

Hi All,

I am not sure if anyone had this problem, but it happens to us twice. We have built 4 test boards using the uPSD3254BV-24U6. We were able to program the MCU without problem, however, just yesterday, we fired up the system and try to download the firmware, it was all good until it failed to program one sector of the Flash (don't remember which sector). Now, the next time we try to connect to our system, it says ''''No UPSD JTAG device found''. After that no matter what we do, it can't download the firmware down to our system.

Trying to debug if this is a connection problem, we try the same steps on the second system and guess what? It works fine.

Given that nothing has changed, we strongly believe the MCU is dead (burned) because we had this probelm 6 months ago where we have to replace the MCU to get the FLash link to download the firmware.

Currently the bad system is in the shop for a brain (MCU) change. The question is can the flash link burn the MCU during download?
