I’ve faced with the problem with the configuration of a video card – there is 2 pixels wide row on a screen.
There must be a mode 640x480x8 on my target PC, but due to LCD parameters I use, there must be only 320x234 pixels. I decided to modify CRT registers in order to limit picture to its quarter (line size, blanks and so on). LCD supports frequency in diapason 6.8+-0.8, but with this frequency I see 2 pixels wide vertical row at x=80. I tried to modify CRT registers, but I haven’t got success. Also I tried to modify dot-clock frequency and from card to card (target cards) this raw disappears at a frequency from 8.6 till 13 MHz (dot clock value). This row is a part of the showed screen (out of the visible area – behind x=320, at about x=330), when I move mouse cursor behind the screen, I can see part of the cursor within this row. Can anybody tell me what it can be? ---- Sincerely, SergeyProgrammer Mail-to:mailto:sobolevsp@mail.ru
