Hi,
1) could you please explain me some details on how to interpret the IDCHIP register located at 0xF07C? My actual development is a ST10F276Z5Q3 and its IDCHIP is 1143h = ''F276 Rev.C PConf.E'' (-> Silicon Stepping CAA?) Where the last 4 bits representing the revision ID (3 = Rev.C) So I have to take attention to the ST10F276-CAA Errata Sheet and have not to run at 64MHz when using onchip FLASH. In another thread, Najoua tells me about silicon version CDA, CEA & CEG which are not limited to 40MHz when using onchip FLASH. Is the CEG silicon version also named as ''ST10F276E''? I don't have a ST10F276E yet. What IDCHIP content did I get on ST10F276E? Is there a table or formula to calculate silicon version from Rev-Nibble of IDCHIP CAA = Rev.C = 3 CDA = Rev.? = ? CEA = Rev.? = ? CEG = Rev.? = ? or are all the same Rev.C = 3 ? 2) I have an Errata Sheet of the CAA silicon version. 1/ There is no way to distinguish by software between sub-versions. The IDCHIP definition is such that it codes only the full mask set revision and not the metal fixes. To know this you need to look at the marking. 2/ In ST, there are two groups responsible of the ST10: APG and MCD. The difference in marking is due to the difference in the responsible group: Z5Q3 is MCD marking and -E is part of the product name for APG. It's just for the family look: for the F272 they have 2 commercial products F272E and F272B with small differences in the peripherals and XRAM sizes. Even if the F276 has only 1 version, they decided to identify it with a ''E'' to be relevant in terms of peripheral set. So for APG, all the ST10 have a letter B, E and then the mask revision.
