Save the RTC with a battery

Hello, I want to save the RTC on STR710 chip with a battery.

Can I save the RTC only by using the V18BKP pin?

Are RTCXTI and RTCXTO pins available if I use only the V18BKP pin?

Is the 3,3V mandatory to save the RTC?

Thank you :)

Hi,

For the RTC operation during Standby mode you will have to keep the 3.3V supply on the V33 pins even when you are using the 1.8V on V18BKP. In fact as described in the user manual, the 3.3V is necessary for powering the standby I/Os : (RTCXTI, RTCXTO, STANDBY and WAKEUP pin).

Hope that helps.
