USB flash drives and SD cards contain the rest of the NAND flash production and are therefore only suitable for data transport, but not for data storage, especially not for long-term storage.
SSDs contain NAND flash with greater reliability than USB pen drives or SD cards, but they must be regularly connected to a computer so that the data can be refreshed.
Alongside optical data storage devices, hard drives are currently still the most suitable for long-term storage. However, they have the disadvantage that the interfaces used are slowly disappearing from the market (e.g. SCSI, PATA) and you have to keep such interfaces and possibly also the computers for them. However, the data can be copied to new devices when the interfaces are changed.
Summary: Long-term storage is a complex topic and should not be underestimated.
