To all ST7 gurus,
has anyone used ST7's to manage a dot matrix 64x64 or 128x64 LCD module like CMG64128 or similars with same controller/driver chip set ? (Samsung S6B0108 and S06B0107) I've begun a new project and I have to finish it before november 03 so I want to investigate if it's possible to save some firmware develop time.2003-07-22 04:48 PM
I think you can get some software flow diagrams ( i.e. how to initialise the registers ,timedelays etc.) from the LCD specifications/manual.
I have the driver for the dot matrix LCD but it is for HD44780 based LCD. If you require that i can send it to you.2003-07-23 09:21 PM
Hi Ranjeet,
thanks for your attention, but I have already developed a project using standard 2x20 alphanumeric LCD display builded around the HD44780 controller; so I don't need this firmware. Now I must to use a 64x128 dot-matrix LCD controlled by a ST72C334N4. I just think that I will write my own firmware version!! In any case at the end of work, I will make it available for the forum people. Sisto2003-07-24 12:31 AM

sixtus, have you sorted out your S6B0108 and S06B0107 controller issues?
I've found display with, it seems, to have the same controller, but can't find anything on the net to show me how to work this thing. The only controller info I can found is the Toshiba T6963C
