Is X-CUBE-EEPRMA1 production ready software?

I've just opened this issue on ST X-CUBE-EEPRMA1 github repo.

All that commented lines sound suspicious to me.

I'm not sure that the driver is production-ready, It seems an interanl work in progress.

Regardless of what ST says, in reality the HAL and therefore anything based on it cannot be production ready. The broken HAL lock alone is enough to say that, but it is also bloated and full of other bugs and problems.

Hello,

Not work in progress.

Commented lines are dedicated to users and provide information about code management linked to nucleo environment. Don't forget this SW is made for promotion and prototyping in Cube ecosystem.

In any case it's not a guarantee for production purpose.

Hello,

The commented lines of code is to maintain consistency across different EEPROM expansion boards. The dummy code shall be removed in the next releases.

Thanks
