Failure Program destroyed my STR710FZ2 - Please HELP !!!

Hello!

Since yesterday I am not able to programm my ''STR710FZ2 - Controller''! I use the ''Hitex STR7 Evalboard'' so that the hardware is all right built on. The ''JTAG Connection'' shows with the Keil µVison3 the following mistake: * Could not stop ARM device! * Please check the JTAG cable. * Flash Download failed - Target DLL has been cancelled I have check the hardware environment - that is already ok! Then I have check the ''Boot - Sequence'' with the three Port Pins to get a the programm into the IC! * Boot Enable * Boot0/Boot1 there are able to set but nothing happens - the same mistake! Admittedly I don´t know where my mistake is :( So couldn´t it that the IC is destroyed by an failure programming? Has anybody an idea so what can I do to save the chip without to set a new one on the board? Thanky you for help!! Best regards macke_a

Hello,

It might be that the STR71x device goes in one of the low power mode so you are not able to connect to the device . we suggest you to change on the STR71x eval board the boot mode; RAM (Booten=1, Boot1=1, Boot0=0) then you can connect again to the device and you will be able to load your program in the internal flash. then back to flash boot mode. Please refer to Hitex schematic board for boot pins setting. could you check this procedure?

Hello Coucou,

thank you for answer! I have already check the idea to change the boot mode on the hitex evalboard. But nothing happend, the problem exits further! I have no access to my controller. The Keil present the same mistakes. What can I do to get a grip with my problem? I need my board to continue my activity !! Many thanks for helping!!! Best regards macke_a

Hi !

I have check the hardware between the programmer connector and µC. There is everything fine. The Ulink is also ok. I have a second board with the STR710 controller to the checking my environment! Im sure the problems near the chip! But what is going on with my controller? Best regards macke_a

Thank you for the idea but the bug was still there. So I don´t know what can I do to save my hitex board without soldering the IC! Has nobody another concept to save my board? Best regards macke_a
