Posted on September 11, 2003 at 18:20I am using an Atlas with core speed at 133 MHz and memory speed at 90 MHz. I tested several prototypes of this design about six months ago with NO heatsink at temperatures up to 60 C (140 F) and all worked well. I now have two boards that were built recently that cannot run in ambient temperatures above 40C (104F). At an ambient temperature of 50C my case temperature is only at 64C, well below the specified maximum of 85C. If I add a heatsink I can run successfully at an ambient of 55C, but I still can't run at 60C. Is anyone else experiencing the same problem?
