LIS3DHTR Product Life cycle?

Hi,

In the company where I work we are developing hardware and we are already evaluating the LIS3DH in order to put it in our hardware devices. However we have noticed that the LIS3DH is obsolete but there is the LIS3DHTR which is the same product but different packaging. I would like to ask you guys if you know if there are plans to keep selling and producing the LIS3DHTR and if you have a little information about his life cycle. That would be helpful for us to keep considering this product in our devices.

Hi Luca,

Can you please let me know current status of LIS3DHTR? What's its estimated longevity?

Looking at current availability the sales seems to be going pretty well?

We're hesitating if we should use it in new project.

Are there any other suggested alternatives from ST apart from below?

• IIS2DHTR
• IIS2DLPCTR
• IIS2DLPC

Hi Michal,

LIS3DHTR is one of our oldest devices. It's still running in high volumes, but I do not forecast it to last more than two-three years from today.

IIS2DLPCTR is surely, among the industrial devices, the one I would recommend: it's a newer generation respect to LIS3DHTR and also guaranteed for longevity.
