Hi @MBeck.1​ , the number "944" indicates the year (9 for 2019) and the year week (44 for wk 44) of the device assembly lot for LIS2DH12TR. The 2D code matrix embeds the tracking info of the chip IDs (both MEMS and ASIC), the finish good lot and the assembly plant, mainly for failure analysis purposes on customer returns from field.
