In ISM330DHCX the MLC can run up to 104Hz, that means that we cannot detect any abnormal frequency above 52 Hz? Why is the MLC limited to 104Hz if the maximum sensor ODR (Gyro or XL) is 6.67kHz?

Correct, MLC can run up to 104Hz and thus cannot correctly detect any vibration frequency higher than 52Hz. The MLC elaboration rate is limited to 104Hz due to computational limitations, but ST is working towards the direction of increasing the elaboration rate with the next generation of inertial sensors.
