I want to know the range of errors (angles) of the marked data for the Threshold value [degrees] about AIS2DW12.

We are considering applying AIS2DW12 among ST MICRO products to HMC RS4 vehicle type ATS controller.

In the contents of the data sheet, we intend to process signals with the vehicle using a function called 6D orientation detection.

Refer to Table 17. Threshold for 4D/6D function in the application note.

Among the table contents, I want to know the range of errors (angles) of the marked data for the Threshold value [degrees].

Hi @LSo.1 ,

Thank you for sharing the application of interest.

For an idea on the accuracy of those thresholds, you should refer to the mechanical characteristics of the device as reported in the datasheet, p.11.

First you have to minimize the Zero-g level offset accuracy, that is ±20mg. After this "zero calibration", you can refer to the reported sensitivity, for example the min sensitivity in the FS ±2g, i.e. 0.207mg/digit, it should result in less than 1 degree precision.

Please let me know if it can be of some help.
