I'm building a power/battery bank application and i was wondering if
the X-NUCLEO-SRC1M1 is an evaluation board for that.
I just need an IC that takes care of sourcing voltage to the device/load's battery in a fast charging usb type-c manner.
Does this X-NUCLEO-SRC1M1 evaluation board does that ??
If not, would you guys have any ICs that does this ??
also, if available, would you have any ICs that does both the sinking: charging the power/battery bank AND sourcing voltage to the device ??
Thanks

Hello,
The X-NUCLEO-SRC1M1 is a Nucleo expansion board that can be added on top of any Nucleo-64 board when your bus voltage is 5V. If you want to implement fast charging, you'll need a Nucleo-64 board that supports UCPD (USB-C Power Delivery) like NUCLEO-G071RB or NUCLEO-G474RE which have built-in USB-C power delivery controller in their STM32.
We do provide a development board that does both the sinking and the sourcing with X-NUCLEO-DRP1M1. It is based on TCPP03-M20 USB Type-C Port Protection IC.
Kindly check our complete USB-C PD TCPP series offer on this webpage:

I hope these resources will be helpful for you.

Hello @EJohn.3
Based on TCPP02 (Type C Port Protection for sourcing devices) and STPD01 (programmable buck converter), the is also a STEVAL-2STPD01 shield that is available to source power.
It is dual port capable in combination with a STM32G0.
