I have hade issues now for 8 month, I cant connect to the stusb4500 chip i have on my custom board for PD profile programming, The gui always tells me there is no board connected and the HW checker wont find anything.

I can connect to the f0732 with the Cube programmer but not more than that.

Anyone with possible help ? ? :beaming_face_with_smiling_eyes:

How would this even work? Does the STUSB4500 have an SWD / JTAG connection?

Review power and pins on your custom design. Have an FAE review your design

Some other I2C connectivity working?

Any signs of life from the custom design compared to the reference design?

NUCLEO F0732?

The custom board has the sda and scl pins for programming it throught i2c but my Nucleo board + stusb4500 is not even found by the HWchecktool.

I have the power on both boards and the stusb negotiates the original pd profile setup but i cant change it. Seems like some people try to do this with arduinos nowdays.

Hello,

Please make sure that the STM32 Nucleo board is flashed with the latest firmware to be able to use the tools.

The tools have been tested with the following hardware: NUCLEO-F072RB

https://www.st.com/content/st_com/en/products/evaluation-tools/product-evaluation-tools/mcu-mpu-eval-tools/stm32-mcu-mpu-eval-tools/stm32-nucleo-boards/nucleo-f072rb.html

Note that the old version of HwCheckUtility had a detection issue on some computer configurations. This had been fixed.

So please use the latest version attached (1.0.2)

The STUSB4500 GUI v1.10 is available here:
