BlueNRG EVAL not recognized by windows

Hi ST

The evaluation board is not working properly. Windows does not recognize device at all. I guess that the board is missing a USB pull-up resistor . but once soldered the pull-up resistor, windows recognizes the USB-cable but does not still recognize it as a virtual serial port. Can you help me ?

Hi,

this behaviour is expected, since the BlueNRG kit is preprogrammed with a firmware to interact with a mobile phone (SensorDemo).

No hardware modification is required.

In section 3.1, the kit user manual specifies how to reprogram the STM32L firmware for controlling the BlueNRG through the GUI.
