It's going to be a long time between the announcement of silicon and an actual product that you might buy in a store. ST does the silicon, but counts on a module maker to convert that silicon into a module that has a lens, housing, control software and a ton of other things.
If you have a demand for a significant number of these, by all means contact ST and we can help you. But to make it pay it would take a LOT of units.
Eventually that silicon will make it into the market, but it probably won't have the ST name on it. And that's completely fine with ST.
Marketing suggests by Q2 2023 there should be something.
