about connection of pins in VL53L1X

Dear Sir,

We are going to make our own PCB after confirming the action with X-NUCLEO-53L1A1 module. We found the connection of pins 4, 6 12 in VL53L1X breakout board is different

with the Figure3 (VL53L1Xschematic) . In Figure 3, pins 4, 6 and 12 are connected to

main ground as same as described in Table2 (VL53L1X pin description). But in VL53L1X breakout board described in UM2359, pins 4 and 12 are connected to 1K resistors and pin 6 is not connected to any. We used schematic in Figure3 from datasheet. I wonder if there

is any problem for this schematic.

best regards

Sai Dai

The breakout board was designed before the chip was finished. So they left themselves plenty room to make changes. Use the schematic in the datasheet.

However if you were going to make any changes - may I suggest putting a decoupling cap very near each power pin? The schematic only shows one and tying the power pins together. 1 for each power pin would be better.
