Need an 'Other Tools' section?

Under STM32 MCUs software development tools, there are only ST's own tools:

There needs to be one for "Other Tools" - for all the questions about Keil, IAR, and others ...

eg, just now:

earlier today:

last week:

Hello @Andrew Neil ,

Thanks for your suggestion! The board existed a while ago but due to very low activity, just a couple of questions a month,  we closed it. Let me check in the respective team on this and see if and how we can best support your mentioned topics. I will get back once there are news.

Greetings,
Lina

Maybe just rename the "STM32CubeIDE" one to something generic?

perhaps "IDEs & Build Tools" ... ?

Hello,

Thanks for sharing @Andrew Neil . So far there are no plans on setting up a new forum board for these topics, as the count of them remain rather low.

As always, I encourage other members to share their thoughts on this proposal.

Thanks a lot,
Lina

Then maybe change the name of the existing board to be less specific?

eg, "Build tools" or "Compilers, IDEs, etc" or ...

Which exact board are you referring to? Please share the link. Thanks!

The one that's currently called, "STM32CubeIDE (MCUs)":

If we're saying that's the place for all questions relating to any IDE or other build tools, then the name should reflect that.
