For the LSM6DSOX, the application note related to the MLC feature is the document AN5259; it is recommended to read this document, which contains all the details regarding the MLC feature, including also the decision tree generation.
In particular, regarding the decision tree generation, the application note includes three appendixes (A, B, C, D) with the details of the external tools (Weka, RapidMiner, MATLAB, Python). Moreover, for MATLAB and Python, some scripts are provided as example in our GitHub repository, the links to this material are available in the appendix sections of the MLC application notes.
