We are considering the L9637D in one of our program as we are checking for LO pin functionality.
As there is very limited details in the datasheet.

L9637D contains a bidirectional K-line. It is receiver when the K pin is driven by K_line and RX pin report translated signal to microcontroller. It is transmitter when the microcontroller drives TX pin and L9637D drives K-line.
There is even L-line only as receiver. It is the same than K-line receiver. L_line protocol is almost the same than K-line protocol, but it is normally intended as unidirectional bus to program sensors. In L9637D, only receiver is implemented.
