STA333 and APW questions...

Hello, first : can i use STA333 with filterless output (only snubber) ? (and sound quality ...better , than with filter ?)

and in the APW gui, i cannot import speaker response (F5) - not working; is this only working, when active STA is connect or ..when ?

hi Schaub ,

yes , you can use STA333BW with filter less configuration , but please pay attention for load type , an inductive load or speaker is mandatory for filter less application .

Actually external LC filter had been used to filter out high frequency carrier that will create EMI issue , then shorter speaker wire and lower supply voltage/output power will help to reduce radiation from PWM output signal.

regarding APWorkbench speaker tuning feature , it will be actived after you got key .

did you register APWorkbench ?
