I'm using STM32CubeMX Version 6.2.1 with ARM-KEIL uVision V5.34.0.0 and C Compiler V5.06 Update without any problem. When STM32CubeMX Version 6.3.0 and ARM-KEIL uVision V5.35 or later still compiler does not give any error ,but code is not working on STM32F746 Board(Nucleo-144)

Hello! Using CubeMX6.2 I am functioning on Hal Library and STM32F427VI.I apply DMA and place SDMMC controller‘s clock frequency to 24MHz. In case of facing SD error during programming. By following below steps I get back on SD card:1 - MX_FATFS_Init;2 - HAL_SD_InitCard;3 - result = f_mount(&FATFS, " ", 1);These functions work successfully and normally outcome turns to FR_OK but some time result turns to FR_DISK_ERROR. Before mounting SD card if we face issues the consequences returns FR_DISK_ERROR or FR_NOT_READY and will never sort out by following above functions. If before mounting Sd card I unplug it and after that mount and find FR_not_ready then connect SD and remount it. This issue also occurs in case of switching MicroSD pins in ESP8266 and STM32. At last I unplug – connect MicroSD or to solve the issue by the function of reset micro.To complete my project it’s very important to remount SD card. I hope any one will help me. Thanks

I am working on STM32 (H7) project , when I click OC file it creates STM32CubeMX and it develop a dialogue which ask, with the help of STM32Cube firmware FW_H7 V1.9.0 this project was designed. With the usage of STM32Cube firmware version FW_H7 V1.9.0. the function of new STM32Cube V6.3.0 is better.I have a confusion I am at V1.9.0, already , but in case if I choose <Migrate> then make Cube MX return back with <Generate Code>.With the redesigning of project the floating point variables ‘ output no more working.Instead of Migrate if I choose continue Cube MX shows an empty screenSTM32CubeIDE is v1.7.0I want suggestions regarding this problem.Thank You.

Hello,I make a Lwip project that was done on STM32CubeMX V6, and STM32CUBE FW_H7 V1.8.0. This project can't work when build with MDK uVision v5.35, ARM Compiler v6. When pinging the device, there is no response!But it can work well after changed the Compiler to "ARM Compiler v5". Please help as this is really confusing.Thank you in advance for your help.

Hello, I'm working on the service tool called stm32pio that allows to use CubeMX-generated code with the PlatformIO project. It has found not so many but some users around the world already. I've established an automated CI pipeline for easy and convenient testing my software before publishing to the audience. The problem is, I can setup CI environment to download all the necessary tools on each run except CubeMX. Previous versions (before 6.3.0, I think) can be obtained using direct links like https://sw-center.st.com/packs/resource/library/stm32cube_mx_v621.zip but more recent ones are not available anymore. Maybe you can provide new direct link format or do you have some FTP server to download from? If security is an issue, CI provider (Azure Pipelines) can store a secret key that will be injected to a download request and will not be visible to anyone publicly. Currently, I am forced to disable CI entirely 'cause it's not possible to run complete tests without the CubeMX. Thank you

On CUBEIDE V1.3.0 I am designing a project STM32 and on goal section, I choose evaluation board (Nucleo-F446RE).From the above mention board I still not receiving the pin out after choosing initialize al peripherals with their default mode to yes. If we select No the situation remains same.Any one has any idea at which step I am making mistake?Thanks.

1) A tool "stm32pio" (converts stm32cubeide projects to platformio and facilitates including later STM32CubeIDE tweaks) requires STM32CubMX installed. Will this discrete install be compatible with the IDE version? or should I somehow instruct stm32pio to utilise the stm32cubemx component of the ide?2) Cant run STM32CubeMX : I downloaded and installed 6.3.0 into bin/thirdparty/STM32CubeMX and then symlinked the app into my bin directory. I have a blackpill board with STM32F411 48 pins IC and CubeMX/CubeIDE at lastest versions. The USB is configured as device CDC, no Vbus.​When I flash the board with generated code ​and plug USB in Windows 10 I get an error "invalid device descriptor". I have increased heap to 0x1000 without success.​It not seems a hardware issue because I can enter the board in DFU and flash or erase device using CubeProgrammer.​Any help will be apreciated.​Leonardo​

Hi,I'm using STM32F407VG on STM32F4 DISC board and CubeMX. I want to have USB in CDC and MSC mode, but I can't find how to configure it in this mode. Is it possible to do using CubeMX?If not, can I do it using HAL? Thanks!

following packet i am sending from host to controller-02 01 00 02 01 02 03 04 00 01 00(first two bytes are packet type)-controller is expecting that value as 0x0102 but due to endianness mismatch when sent as 0x0102 its interpreted as 0x0201.so every time i need to send that value as 0x0201 to be interpreted as 0x0102 at controller. as controller is using little endian and dock light using big endian format(as per my understanding). how can i send the data from host as 0x0102 and it is interpreted as 0x0102 only and not 0x0201 at controller? Can we do such endianness changes from IDE?Please help me. Working on STM controller for the very first time.

I'm using the STM32H735G-DK and I run into a problem when using the ADC, so I made a very short CubeMX project to check this.I started with a CubeMX configured board with no peripheral default initialisation.Then I ticked ADC1 IN0. So by default it set it as 16bits conversion with software start. I changed the CPU clock to 550MHz.In the generated project:I'm starting the ADC conversionThen I poll for the conversion completionThen I read the ADC result and store itHAL_ADC_Start(&hadc1);HAL_StatusTypeDef status = HAL_ADC_PollForConversion(&hadc1, 1000);adc_buff = HAL_ADC_GetValue(&hadc1);The default pinout use the Arduino A2 pin (PA0_C). I connected the 3.3V on the ADC input. The ADC result is then 65535 which is fine. What is strange is that it doesn't change of a single lsb due to noise.Then I connected the 0V on the ADC input. The result I get is 1000+-100lsb instead of 0.Which basically mean that on a 16bit conversion, I have 10bits of noise.I checked that the chan

We have a project created in CubeMX (inside CubeIDE) and developed in CubeIDE. Everything works fine.However, we wanted to use a Makefile so we could have the same build process on our CI server and within CubeIDE.So we now generated a Makefile from stand-alone CubeMX with the same IOC file and imported the result as an unmanaged Makefile project into CubeIDE.This works fine for development and building but debugging is not possible. When we try to debug, an error message dialog comes up, saying: "Not able to get mcu target. " See attached image.Can anyone tell me what I am missing?Thanks

I created two CubeMX projects for an STM32L412K Nucleo and IAR EWARM 8.50.9 (licensed).Project A is a simple default, I don't modify anything at all.Project B takes project A and enables FreeRTOS in the Middlewares.I add "printf("test") before while(1) in Project A, and before osKernelStart() in Project B.When I debug Project A, the test message appears in Terminal IO. The implementation appears to follow _DLIB_FILE_DESCRIPTOR=0, because putchar calls _write as shown in the DLIB library file source.However, Project B does NOT print anything. And the disassembly shows that putchar calls fputc, which looks like DLIB putchar.c was compiled with _DLIB_FILE_DESCRIPTOR=1.Nowhere is DLIB_FILE_DESCRIPTOR reconfigured in either project. And manually setting it to zero doesn't fix Project B.Nowhere is weak putchar() overridden in either project.I can't figure out what is causing this behavior.

Hello, I am going to use CAN1, CAN2 and I2C1, I2C2. As the attached picture shows, the I2C2 has a conflict with CAN2. IS there any way to fix it? I have to use both CAN modules and two I2C's. Thank you.

Hello All,I have an STM32WB55 Nucleo board and I want to use the BLE_HID example from the FW folder 1.12.1. I have successfully built, uploaded, and ran the example on my board, however, I am now running into 2 problems:If I try to copy the BLE_HID folder and paste is somewhere other than:"/Users/<username>/STM32Cube/Repository/STM32Cube_FW_WB_V1.12.1/Projects/P-NUCLEO-WB55.Nucleo/Applications/BLE/BLE_Hid" the STM32CubeIDE will throw the error:make: *** No rule to make target '/Utilities/lpm/tiny_lpm/stm32_lpm.c', needed by 'Utilities/stm32_lpm.o'. Stop. And will not build. How do I overcome this problem?The BLE HID functionality is only a part of my final product, and I want to build my project starting from the example but I want to be able to use the CubeMX program. Is there a way to take the example and turn it into a CubeMX project?Any help is appreciated!Almog

I am working on getting a Nucleo-H743ZI2 board to communicate with a python GUI over Ethernet. I am using CubeMX to initialize all of my peripherals and CubeIDE for development. For testing I have used the Lwip_HTTP_Server_Netconn_RTOS for STM32H743ZI_Nucleo example that can be selected in example selector. I have these codes readily available to post but I am very new to all of this so I am not sure what parts of it I should be posting. My goal is to be able to be able to click my button on the GUI and send an Ethernet packet to the board that I can read and then act upon as well as be able to send a packet from the board to the GUI with sensor reading information. I was able to run the Lwip example on the board that shows connectivity by having an orange LED for connected to ethernet and a red LED on for disconnected. I am not sure if this example is compatible with the HAL_ETH_transmit() and other functions in the ETH HAL driver to make this functionality work? If there is any gener

Hi,i'm using Keil with the ARMClang 6.x compiler, an STM32f407 and CubeMX to configure my project.I was playing arround with dynamic memory allocation and was wondering whyuint8_t* b_; b_ = static_cast<uint8_t*>(std::calloc(100, sizeof(uint8_t)));works butb_ = static_cast<uint8_t*>(std::calloc(512, sizeof(uint8_t)));always was returning 0x0000000.After reading on the ARM/Keil website i came to the conclusion thatIMPORT __use_two_region_memoryin the startup_stm32f407xx.s seems to be the reason for this fault(?) I'm not exactly sure if this is a fault or to be excpected and i'm overseeing sth. But after comenting out this line i get a valid pointer when i try to allocate 512 byte (or more)Why is it working i if allocate a smaller memory area? And can i fix this somehow so that not everytime i generate the project again my startup file is overwritten? Or is this something which should be fixed in this startup file by ST?Thanks for help.

Hello,I use STM32H730VBT6 on a project. I want to use two OctoSPI peripherals for Flash and RAM separately. I select QuadSPI and clock from OctoSPI1 peripheral. When I select clock source in this window then OctoSPI2 peripheral disappears from the list.I need to use both OctoSPI peripheral as a quad.How can I use OctoSPI peripherals in quad mode at the same time?

I try to configure USB_OTG_HS port on Nucleo-H7A3ZI-Q as a Virtual Com Port (VCP). All CubeMX settings left default, no RTOS.Windows 10 recognizes the device as COM9 but when I try to open it using putty the infamous "The semaphore timeout period has expired" error 121 occurs after about 4 seconds, OTG_HS_IRQHandler does not fire.I have modified CDC_Control_HS() function to implement correct port settings as described in How to Set USB CDC Line Coding? (st.com). I have tried increasing stack and heap size, removing the Windows COM device several times, tried various terminal apps, made sure com params match, tried disabling "use FIFO buffers" - all for nothing, error still occurs. The same USB port with the same (high grade) cable works just fine with STLINK-V3, including STLINK VCP.I have no clue what to check next. Please advise.CubeMX 6.3, STM32Cube FW_H7 V1.9.0#USB​ 

For STM32H7A3VIT6, in the latest CubeMX software I cannot assign alternate functions to the PC2_C and PC3_C pins. But according to the datasheet it should be possible by closing the analog switches to PC2 and PC3 by modifying SYSCFG_PMCR registers.I've checked the alternate function settings are indeed present for older STM32H7 lines. But not for STM32H7Ax/Bx. Is this a bug in CubeMX or a hardware limitation?
