Hello everyoneI'm trying to enable touchgfx on stm32h743bi.I've done this before on the stm32f746 discoThis time I did exactly what I did on the disco stm322f746 but it didn't work. I think the problem is with the extra fmc settings being added to the cod.I debugged the program and found out where the program would stop./ * Check this really is a semaphore, in which case the item size will be0. * /configASSERT (pxQueue-> uxItemSize == 0);This code is located in the queue.c file. I don't know what this code does. Please help me
I'm trying TouchGFX on a STM32H7B3I-DK board and managed to have it running with RGB565 pixel format. The first screen has an image has background and one image, one text area and one button on it. If the background image is specified with the default RGB565 format everything is fine but if I make it L8_RGB565 the drawing engine hangs and never return from backPorchExited() in TouchGFXHAL::taskEntry() function. When using default RGB565 for background image I may change the image with a SetBitmap using an L8_RGB565, I may also switch to a second screen that has a L8 background image, so the problem is limited to the setup of the first screen.Has someone encountered the same problem, or did I forget some initialisation of CLUT or ...
I am trying to set up a simple project in STM32CubeIDE + TouchGFX and it returns me the following error: c: /st/stm32cubeide_1.1.0/stm32cubeide/plugins/com.st.stm32cube.ide.mcu.externaltools.make.win32_1.1.0.201910081157/ tools / bin / sh: syntax error: unterminated quoted stringI already followed this tip from Martin: "The issue was simply copying" \ Middlewares \ ST \ TouchGFX \ touchgfx \ framework \ source \ platform \ "into the Library Path settings. If you select the folder through" Add ..-> Workspace " it should be correct and not cause an error. " But it did not work.I tested CubeMX + TouchGFX + Ac6, CubeMX + TouchGFX + Atollic and two different versions of STM32CubeIDE (1.1.0 and 1.2.0). All unsuccessful attempts. Bugs after creating the GUI project or changing the user's own code in the comment protected area are the most common. I am using CubeMX 5.3.0 and TouchGFX 4.13.Honestly it is very frustrating to try to use the official tools of ST and come across so many bugs.
I'm thinking about using a high resolution display like this onehttps://www.ebay.com/itm/113385033095But I read in the STM32H7 reference manual that it only has two mipi lanes, so my questionis if it is possible to drive a 4-lane display with only 2 lanes, and if possible what would be the impact. Also, is there a 720x1280 5.5", 6", 7", or 8" display with only two mipi lanes?
When I have a custom container for a button which is the following. (Shown in order) TextAre - which is update able. Image - which is transparent in the middle under the Text. Background - dark background. When the custom contain for a button is displayed, the area to the left and right of the TextArea is the background of the holding screen, and NOT the background of the custom container. This happens if the text is static, or if the text is updated.
Hello,i have a 4" Display with a NT35510 Controller from Waveshare. Their example works. Now I want to use the display with TouchGFX. Unfortunately I have no experience how to start. The Display is connected with FSMC. But in CubeMX i dont now, how Setup TouchGFX:My Controller is a ST32F407VG. Can someone help me?Greetings Sascha
Hello Martin,My project is using 8-color memory LCD, which only supports 3 BPP format. I found that touchgfx supports 6 BPP, which may simplify my code. But I found 24, 16, 8, 4, 2 and 1 bit options in touchgfx4.13. How to use the 6 BPP option? Thank you
As far as i understood the DCMI on AHB2 bus which has speed of (CPU/2 ) so at 480 MHz it will be 240MHz and the DCMI pixel clock must respect the minimum ratio of 2.5 so at this clock i will get 96 MHz or it for some other reason its fixed at 80 MHz only
I have requirements to keep a header bar with a number of status indicators visible on all screens. At first I created a custom component representing the header bar and placed it on all screens. But that is a duplication and any time I change screens, the bar animates with it.I then tried using swipe containers, but TouchGFX designer crashed with an array index out of bounds error every time I tried to hide the container I'm not editing. Any insight as to how to maintain a common container for part of the screen on all screens/views?
Hi I would like to know whether the interface is cubic-bezier left in touchgfx.I noticed that there's a little bit less description of the easing equation .Thank you.
Hello,Latest version of STemWin as included in STM32Cube_FW_L4_V1.14.0 apparently missing GUI_SPLINE_* functions in the provided *.a libs but they are listed in header file (GUI.h) - which causes linking error. We are working with STemWin_CM4_wc32_ot_ARGB.a in particular but others are missing it as well. This is very important feature for us.Is there newer version, or version with this feature working? Thanks in advance
How do we change the TouchGFX Windows simulation icon?See "how" image. I want to change the icon that appears in the top-left corner of the window, as well as the icon that appears in the windows task bar.I can see that the icon used for these is located atC:\TouchGFX\4.13.0\designer\Skins\Dark\Logo\touchgfx_logo.pngC:\TouchGFX\4.13.0\designer\Skins\Blue\Logo\touchgfx_logo.pngBut if I manually change these and run the TouchGFX Simulator, the icon does not change. Where is this hard-coded then, so that we can change this?I also see that the "touchgfx_logo.png" file is referenced in these filesC:\TouchGFX\4.13.0\designer\Skins\Dark\skin.jsonC:\TouchGFX\4.13.0\designer\Skins\Blue\skin.jsonin the line: "Image": "Logo/touchgfx_logo.png", in lines 1512 and 1513 respectfully. We have also found this file, but this icon is completely different than these: C:\TouchGFX\4.13.0\designer\Files\touchgfx.icoWe are using TouchGFX version 4.13.0 if this was not clear from the folder paths. Can we c
Hello,I am working on my custom board and build a project with CubeMX.In my project, i used STM32F750N8, W25Q128 in memory mapped mode, 24 TFT LCD, TouchGFX.When i build and load the project, pictures dont loading correct way. In the video you can see what i am talking about. Why is this happining? Is this about sdram timing issue, or ltdc clock config?https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Eh2085DjMLc

Hi,i want to add a transition animation when the animation is over,i know the Animated Image contain a callback name setDoneAction(), but i want to realize like H750 demo, when the button is clicked, the fan is still turn for a moment and then stop, i want to do that.what should i do in the code? Thanks.
Hi all, Do we can implement EEprom_Emulation with TouchGFX, because i want to save some data when i change them on screen.i had tested EEprom_Emulation (in folder STM32Cube) with out touchGFX and it run normal, but when i testing EEprom_Emulation with TouchGFX that have some problem such as: hang touch, and data read from eeprom not same data i had save before that.i had config EEPROM_START_ADDRESS 0x08070000 and program when i compile Flash property only have 15%, that mean it not over lap EEPROM_START_ADDRESS 0x08070000.Do i have mistake in my program, or how we can tackle EEprom_Emulation with TouchGFX,Thanks and best regards.
Is your system architected to adapt to change? Are you able to easily introduce a new product line with a similar experience? Can you alter how users interact with your application without having to overhaul the communication with the backend? If you build your embedded product from the very beginning with scalability in mind, you’ll be able to move from a high-end STM32MP1 to a lower-priced STM32 MCU (or vice versa) with ease when the time is right for the introduction of a new mass-market product.Join us for a 1-hour webinar on Thursday May 14, to learn how Crank Software’s Storyboard application has been helping embedded products built using STMicroelectronics hardware to stand the test of time, be scalable, and be resilient to design change.Click here to register todayPANELISTSSoren Mikkelsen, Business Development Engineer for STM32 Graphics, STM Garry Clarkson, Field Application Engineer, Crank SoftwareDate: May 14th, 2020 11 AM EDT
when i try and flash the board through the designer it keeps failing. I have tried removing the files and creating a new folder and linking that one but no success, i am desperate my project is due to be presented on Friday, i have experimented with all parts separately and now i am combining the code, the last piece if the FatFS SDMMC, data logging, the code works perfectly as it is tried and tested, i simply dont understand why this is happening, it should be a simple process just to add code that has already worked on the 746 Disco board, although that was without the screen, but this part of the project is just data logging and has no interaction with the screen apart from sharing a task in main.c. the header is there as CubeIDE complies can someone please get back to me ASAP, it is important. here is the log from TouchGFX designer Image is not availableImage is not available
Hello,I have a container that is present in every single view (namely a header that contains a clock).I need this header to read 12h/24h time setting, and then draw time accordingly. If I use Model-View-Controller, I must implement activate() method in every single Presenter to load this setting from Model, and implement "setTimeSetting()" in every single View, which will call the container "setTimeSetting()". This is a bit overkill, isn't it?So instead of that, I just implement the function in FrontendApplication, and call it in the container only using application().getTimeSetting().Is it appropriate to store a global variable in FrontendApplication instead, that the container reads directly? Am I missing something here, is there going to be problems with that?To me, this seems to be easier approach in most cases, and less risk of typing errors when making lots of function calls between M-V-C objects. Thanks!
Also uVision 5.29 generates a bunch of Font missing .cpp file errors? Is there an install guide I'm missing?
I had modified the project generated by TouchGFX Designer with STM32H750-DK template to run on STM32H745i-discovery board. Since my project has no SPI-FLASH and external SDRAM, I put Image into internal flash and use internal sram as framebuffer. By default, It works on RGB888 fine. But I want to reduce sram usage size, so want to let it works on RGB565 mode. The modification in my project as below 1.) pLayerCfg.PixelFormat = LTDC_PIXEL_FORMAT_RGB565;When I modify these two function setupDataCopy(), setupDataFill() in stm32dma.cppand force set DMA2D_RGB565 mode as below, always into DMA2D_XferErrorCallback()HAL_DMA2D_SetMode(&hdma2d, dma2dTransferMode, DMA2D_RGB565, blitOp.dstLoopStride - blitOp.nSteps); Can anyone help to teach how to set is correct? Many thanks and Best regardsS.W.
Hi TeamI have LCD panel with 24-bit RGB Interface and having resolution of 800 x 480. I wanted to know about its support with part no. STM32L4S7VI as its having built-in TFT Controller. I know it has 24-bit RGB support, but does it supports 800 x 480 pixel resolution ?
I started a project from scratch in CubeMX. and the set TouchGFX for portrait as :Middleware->Graphics->TouchGFX, changed width : 272 and Height : 480. In TouchGFX designer it displays correctly as Portrait(see PortraitFromTouchGFX).PNG) but when I compiled using IAR and deployed it on the target bd, it doesn’t display correctly (see From STM32F746-Disco Display.jpg )In Hal.hpp : It automatically sets the display orientation based on width/height, so I don't think I need to do anything else. (Changing LTDC etc) HAL(DMA_Interface& dmaInterface, LCD& display, TouchController& touchCtrl, uint16_t width, uint16_t height) : dma(dmaInterface), lcdRef(display), touchController(touchCtrl), mcuInstrumentation(0), buttonController(0), taskDelayFunc(0), frameBuffer0(0), frameBuffer1(
Hi!How to set FreeRTOS for 2 tasks and queue 2?How to add support in main.c and Model.cpp?Andrzej
