I get the error shown in the image when I enable touch gfx software in cubeMx, in the same question(https://community.st.com/s/question/0D53W0000037kqg/warning-this-ip-has-no-parameter-to-be-configured) I saw a reply that said reinstalling cubemx will help fixing the problem but for my case it didn't work and I'm still facing the issue
Hello,I have tried to edit the text.xlsx file for translation purposes and for some reason after accessing the file with excel, generating the code no longer works. This is the message I get nowGenerate Code Generate Done Generate Assets make -f simulator/gcc/Makefile assets -j8 Invalid argument - generated/texts/include/texts/TextKeysAndLanguages.hpp an error occurred in converting texts: Invalid argument - generated/texts/include/texts/TextKeysAndLanguages.hpp make[1]: *** [texts] Error 1 generated/simulator/gcc/Makefile:219: recipe for target 'texts' failed simulator/gcc/Makefile:32: recipe for target 'assets' failed make: *** [assets] Error 2 Failed FailedThe first issue I faced was with excel complaining that the file was corrupted and needed repair. Not sure if that is what caused the problem.As can be seen above, the log doesn't say much about the error. Does anyone know if there is a way to get more information? Or perhaps share with me why editing the text.xlsx

HelloI have a question.I have STM32F769I-EAVL board.I can control LCD with TouchGFX.But I want to create a project and control LCD with CUBEMX.Is there a tutorial that controls (DSI) LCD through CUBEMX?If not, could you tell me how to set up CUBEMX and control LCDs?Thank you.
When adding elements to a ListLayout(which is configured to scroll vertically "SOUTH"), the newest elements is added to the bottom, which is fine. However, what is constantly remaining on the top of the view is the first(oldest) element and the subsequent older. As such, the content is larger than the height, the newest element will be hidden till manually scrolling the list. Is there a way to make the list automatically updates "i.e. scrolls up" such that the newest element is in view?
I’ve always wanted to use my large TV screen as a graphics display for my projects. Just in case others are wanting to do the same I thought I would share this...After a lot of messing around, I have found that it is possible to display a full screen image (mono) on a HD TV display using an STM32L4.Since most TVs these days don’t have VGA connectors, I have had to resort to using a VGA-to-HDMI adapter. I bought one from Amazon (“Gana? brand) - it works well. The only problem is that most VGA resolutions don’t fill the entire screen, the only resolution that fills the entire screen is 1920x1080@60Hz (my original plan of using a 640x480 resolution had to be ditched)1920x1080@60Hz requires a pixel clock of 148.5MHz - fairly demanding. But if you reduce the resolution by a factor of four to 480x270@60Hz you can get away with a pixel clock of 37.125Mhz. 480x270 resolution also allows you to get two buffers into 64K of RAM.I used a 27MHz crystal to provide the system clock of 74.25 MHz and
Hello everyone,I am a newcomer with STM32 MCU and have a board STM32L073Z-EVAL. I use STMCubeIDE to configure LCD glass 40x8 (MB979). But don't know how to control it.I try to use HAL_LCD_Write(&hlcd, LCD_RAM_REGISTER10, 0x6, 0x5) to show an anything on LCD, but it don't work :( If you have more experience, please help me step by step to show a time 23:59:59 or give me a demo code ? Let's me study myselft !Thank you so much !QUOC NGUYEN
Hello everyone.I have a problem with my code. I'm trying to write a program to take picture from camera and save it as motion jpeg video (MJPEG) in to USB, using JPEG encoder. I build already the header and the structure of MJPEG file but it had problem when I try to run that video file. Also by the source code was provided by STM, I finished to create the JPEG file.This link below simply show some information about MJPEG construction https://blog.goo.ne.jp/sirius506/e/442f430a1531c018a32471f1ecd4ae77I had checked and found out that the output data of frames and the idx1 is written by f_write was incorrect. Sometime 2 bytes were written again. Has someone told me that problem maybe is "3 bytes were dropped".The header data I wrote to the begin of file is always right, but the data that I wrote to frame place and idx1 place usually has problem.Ex: I want to write data like this below01 02 03 04 0501 02 03 04 0501 02 03 04 0501 02 03 04 05but the output was like this01 02 03 04 05*0
When i enable STM32-XCUBE-TOUCHGFX pack in my cubeMX software ; i have no parameter to configure but i got this warning : "This IP has no parameter to be configured" .How should i solve this issue?
Could some one help me in making SPI C-program of MAX7219, 8 digit 7 segment display using STM32F401RE .i have written this code in arm keil (µVision 5) it is not working, could someone help me please: #include"stm32f4xx.h"#include<stdio.h>#include<string.h>void Led_write (char data);void delayMs(int n);int main (void){ char num[] = {0x7e,0x60,0x6d,0x78,0x33,0x5b,0x5f,0x70,0x7f,0x7b}; RCC->AHB1ENR |= 0x0001; RCC->AHB2ENR |= 0x1000; GPIOA->MODER &= ~0xcf00; GPIOA->MODER |= 0x8900; GPIOA->AFR[0] &= ~0xf0f00000; GPIOA->AFR[0] |= 0x50500000; SPI1->CR1 = 0x031c; SPI1->CR2 = 0x00; SPI1->CR1 |= 0x40; while(1) { for(int i=0;i<10;i++) { Led_write(num[i]); delayMs(100); } }}void Led_write (char data){ while(!(SPI1->SR & 2)); GPIOA->BSRR = 0x00100000; SPI1->DR = 0x0900 | data; while(SPI1->SR & 0x80); GPIOA->BSRR = 0x00000010;}void delayMs(int n){ for (int i=0;i<n;i++) for (int j=0;j<3195;i++);}
I'm not able top get word wrap working with the TextArea widget.I'm using the TextArea sample. I've changed the text resource "Main_text" to be a single line of text. I've editted the Screen1View() constructor and added... mainTxt.setWideTextAction(touchgfx::WIDE_TEXT_WORDWRAP); mainTxt.resizeHeightToCurrentText();as suggested by another post, but I only get one line of text, truncated within the box.Any suggestions?Edit: And I set line spacing to 5.

Hi,I am working on STM32746-DISC Board . I am working with "container" feature of TouchGFX with Scroll List . I have successfully update array elements (Hard Coded) as List Elements as per below link.https://support.touchgfx.com/docs/tutorials/tutorial-04// In Screen1View.hpp void Screen1View::scrollList1UpdateItem(MenuElement& item, int16_t itemIndex) { touchgfx_printf("Update Item = %d\n" ,itemIndex ) ; item.setNumber(itemIndex); }// In MenuElement.hpp const char Rx_Buffer1[11][20] = { "LIST.txt", "HELLO.png", "TouchGFX.gif", "STM32F7.doc", "SCROLL.bmp","NEW.xlsx", "TRY.jpg", "GOOD.bmp", "ABC.png", "XYZ.bmp" }; void setNumber(int no) { touchgfx_printf("setNumber = %d\n" ,no) ; Unicode::itoa(no, textArea3Buffer, TEXTAREA3_SIZE , 10); Unicode::strncpy(textArea3Buffer ,( const char *) Rx_Buffer1[no] , TEXTAREA3_SIZE -1 ); }I want to know:1) Is the right method ?2) How to Select/Highlight File Name once item is clicked . and send Selected item (File name) to
I try to encode captured image from camera and send it to the sdcard but the image saved on the sd card is wrong. the resolution is ok. attached you can see it. i use STM32f746
Hello, Whilst spending time trying to find some interactions in Designer, it would be useful to have a summary page (similar to Images and Texts pages) covering all the interactions in a project and have a search button, so I can find any element easily.
Hi TouchGFX users,I saw a couple of people asking for help/requesting a cursor example when working with textArea widgets, where the user could navigate through a text with a cursor, and add/delete elements at the wanted position.So I made a small demo to help some of you and future users facing the same concern. The scenario is: the user wants to have the possibility to manually edit a "barcode-like" text (numbers and letters from A to Z), with a maximum size of 12 characters.The user can increase or decrease the value with the buttons assigned for it (goes from 0 to 9 then switch to A to Z, and then Z to 0). You can move the cursor around the text with the assigned buttons, but you are limited by the extremities of the text. You can add/delete a value at the position of the cursor with the corresponding buttons. The last four digits are highlighted by using a bigger font in this case (just so that I had an example of string handling/communication).There are 2 screens as I followed tw
Since the new TouchGFX 4.12.3 came out, i saw it's finally possible to swtch from landscape to portrait orientation, which is great because i was asked to develop my project with both orientations.i saw the orientation is changed by this line of code :touchgfx::HAL::getInstance()->setDisplayOrientation(touchgfx::ORIENTATION_LANDSCAPE);just switching the function argument.so i changed my code calling that function changing that parameter, and the effective orientation of the simulator changed, but the problems are the imagesas you can see the images are rotated if are square, and just a mess if are rectangle.i saw you can change the image oriantation in the designer, but that make all the images cpp file recompiled, so impracticable for changing orientation runtime...Any way to accomplish what i'm looking for?ThanksStefano
Hello I am trying to use stemwin, but I got a problem. I couldn't find solution. I followed this instruction. https://community.st.com/s/article/FAQ-GUI-on-STM32F469-Discovery-boards-using-CubeMX-and-STemWinIt works well. and I tried to add touchpad sensor. So I used BSP Driver and set I2C, Timer. after I created small button using gui builder. when I cliked the button in debugger mode, it stopped WM_NOTIFICATION_CLICKED case correctly. but the button on the screen, it didn't show any changes. I tried checkbox, It didn't show check sign too . I would appreciate if someone help me.
