Dear Friends ,I have an custom board that using STM32F746 + QSPI Flash (For LCD Data) + RAM (LCD Buffer) + USB Host FS + SD CardDevelopment tools :CubeIDE Ver. 1.6.1 TouchGFX Ver 4.17And using Free RTOSI want to use SD Card and USB Host for data storage (FATFS) , when I expand LCD pages by TouchGFX I meet problem with mounting the SD card !By removing some page or light pages the SD card working without problemThe error that I see on mounting is FR_NO_FILESYSTEM !Also I check when I remove USB host from FAT system the SD card works without problem .Thanks everyone
I tried many ways. However, the DAC 2 channel output is not active. The problem starts the commuity issue 'Undefined reference to 'HAL_RTC_Init' problem'I tried the method you suggested, buf nothing displayed on the LCD.So, I finished the integration of TouchGFX( version 4.17.0 ) and STM32CubeIDE( 1.8.0 ) by comparing different project files( STM32F7 series ).The integration was done in the following way.In TouchGFX( ver. 4.17.0 ), Make project and generate code ( ex. Proeject name is Test )Open the directory C:\TouchGFXProjects\Test and rename the STM32F429I_DISCO_REV_E01.ioc -> STM32F249I-DISCO.ioc.Open the directory C:\TouchGFXProjects\Test\STM32CubeIDE, open the .project file and add the code in the area marked with a red square and save code.Execute the .project file and open STM32F429I-DISCO.ioc file in STM32CubeIDE Project Explorer. In STM32F429-DISCO.ioc file, check the DAC OUT2 Configuration and generate code.( The DAC Channel 2 is GPIO number PA5. )B
Im trying to start ith TouchGFX with the X-Nucleo-GFX01M1.with CubeProgrammer I have the error : failed to download Segment[1].Using TouchGFX 4.18.1 Designer is possible to download the GUI. So, there is not problem of comunciation with the PC.Using STM32Cube come the error Failed to start GDB server. I have read on internet that this error is connected to window dll bla bla bla. ok. fine. I have reinstalled all Window10. No solution and the same error.Using CubeProgrammer and load the file example provide from ST: GFX01M1_HelloWorld.hex I have the error failed to download Segment[1].15:17:45 : Memory Programming ... 15:17:45 : Opening and parsing file: GFX01M1_HelloWorld.hex 15:17:45 : File : GFX01M1_HelloWorld.hex 15:17:45 : Size : 822184 Bytes 15:17:45 : Address : 0x08000000 15:17:45 : Erasing memory corresponding to segment 0: 15:17:45 : Erasing internal memory sectors [0 7] 15:17:45 : Erasing memory corresponding to segment 1: 15:17:45 : Download in Progress: 15:17:46 :
There is a current issue with TouchGFX Designer 4.13 to 4.16.1 where it cannot create a SSL/TLS secure channel, and therfor TouchGFX Designer cannot access the server and download projects and examples. We are currently investigating to fix this but in the meantime here is the workaround:Navigate to the folder where TouchGFX is installed. For example C:\TouchGFX\4.16.0\designer and open TouchGFXDesigner-4.16.0.exe.config with notepad or another code editor.Replace the code section with the "PackagesUrl" setting by http://sw-center-st-com.s3-eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/touchgfx/pacman/packages.json.zipSorry for the inconvenience, we are working on getting everything back to normal./Romain
Hello,I am working on a Project mainly from my desktop PC, yet because I recently installed my board in a garden shed, I have to use my Laptop from now on if I dont want to take the board home again. For this purpose I simply copied my projectfolder from /.../TouchGFXProjects, to the same location on my laptop. If I try flashing my STM32F469I-DISCO board from my laptop, somehow CubeIDE decides to not flash my external memory (QSPI). The result is a black screen instead of what I designed with TGFX.This is what I get from the console using my PC:Erasing memory corresponding to segment 0:Erasing internal memory sectors [0 5]Erasing memory corrseponding to segment 1:Erasing external memory sectors [0 119]Download in Progress:This is what CubeIDE outputs ont the console using my laptop:Erasing memory corresponding to segment 0:Erasing internal memory sectors [0 5]Erasing memory corrseponding to segment 1:Download in Progress:So to my understanding it simply "refuses" to flash the QSPI... y

Hi,I would like to copy the string stored in TextArea wildcard buffer in to a char array for further use in FATFS. I'm displaying the SD card Files on the TFT Display using List Layout example. I'm able to display the files , but then I need to Open & delete the selected files from the List. FATFS f_unlink function does not take Unicode Char in my application.
Hi,Hi have a project working ok in the board (STM32Ide compiles it ok without errors) but when try to run the simulator can't find the header , tried with #include <cmsis_os.h>, #include <cmsis_os2.h> #include <FreeRTOS.h> .. all the same error but yesterday it works... any help? Thanks
When I run simulator of video sample with Display Orientation, the video is rotated.Jpeg picture with LIBJPEG is also rotated.Could you please advice me?
I started the project with TouchGFX using STM32H7B3IIT6 and YB-TG800480S28A-C-A TFT display. But I could not operate the touch feature of the screen I was using. I am using ILI2117A touchscreen controller. What development steps do I need to implement in the project? Does ST have a driver for ILI2117A?
Just noticed that my application TouchGXF task hanged. Other FreeRTOS tasks are continue to work.Debugger shows that problem is within core_cm7 SCB_CleanInvalidateDCache():/* clean & invalidate D-Cache */ sets = (uint32_t)(CCSIDR_SETS(ccsidr)); do { ways = (uint32_t)(CCSIDR_WAYS(ccsidr)); do { SCB->DCCISW = (((sets << SCB_DCCISW_SET_Pos) & SCB_DCCISW_SET_Msk) | ((ways << SCB_DCCISW_WAY_Pos) & SCB_DCCISW_WAY_Msk) ); #if defined ( __CC_ARM ) __schedule_barrier(); #endif } while (ways-- != 0U); } while(sets-- != 0U);sets = 69ways = 3682273424 and counting downI think it will stop counting eventually, but it takes time...During regular run initial values are: sets = 127, ways = 3, ant it has sense because ARM documentation says CCSIDR sets bits are [27:13] and ways bits are [12:3] (in Cortex M7allowed values are 0x01 for instruction caches and 0x03 for data caches)STM32CubeIDE Version: 1.7.0ARM CMSIS 5.7.0Cube IDE STM32H7 MCU package 1.9.1TouchGFX 4.17
I have previously used V4.12 for projects and have been able to set Resouce Text to any colour. After upgrading to V4.18 the text colours can be set in Designer but on the target they seem to be limited to the primary colours and their combinations (three colour bits per pixel). How to I get the full range of RGB565 colours to be used with resource text on 4.18? I tried 4.18.1 and it made no difference. I am using the IAR IDE.
Hi,I'm a french embedded developer. At my office, i need to make some modification to an old project, made with TrueStudio I think. It's a STM32F429 custom board with a LCD screen, and STemWin v5.22 library.I use STM32cubeIDE 1.7.0 usually.I import this old project, STM3cubeIDE sees no problem with the code.So i build it, and surprise, the binary file is larger than 2.2 Gb !I don't understandWhy is it so big ? How can i change that ?I think I need some help. Thanks for reading.
I am using STM32H7B33IIT6 MCU and 800x480 TFT. I can upload images to TFT, but I couldn't get the touch parts to work. But the same program works in STM32H7B3I-DK. What steps do I need to do?
Hello everyone,We are facing an issue related to the TouchGFX Server. You can not download TBSs or Examples you have not previously worked with at the moment.Sorry for the inconvenience! Working as hard as we can to get it back to normal./Romain
Hi, I want to display Korean in STM32F429ZI discovery LCD.Unicode::snprintf(textArea_1_Buffer, TEXTAREA_1_SIZE, "%s", "남");-> Display ???TouchGFX Designer Display Wildcard Ranges are 0x0000-0xfffftextArea WildcardHow can I change Korean used to Unicode::snprintf?
Let's say I have STM32H747I-DISCO discovery board. It comes with a 4" touch screen. Is it possible to connect a larger DSI compatible display to it using the connector on board? How should I even search for compatible larger LCD screens? What are the keywords I should use for search? From what I understand, to use hardware accelerated graphics, I should use DSI. Is there a standard for connectors, or for prototypes and experiments I just connect wires separately to the board pins? I guess not all DSI compatible displays are compatible with my board. So, how do you connect for example a larger, higher resolution screen? I've searched for DSI compatible displays online, but I couldn't find much information about the type of the connector they have. Looking at the pictures - I think the connectors look different from the one that comes with the DISCO kit. Are there any adapters for that purpose? How should I search for such adapters?

Hi All,I would like to have button with a text label for instance on different screens which represent voltage say. On the screen there might be a slider and this can change the value of voltage text. Also, present in hardware is a rotary dial this can also change the voltage voltage text on the screen. Changes to the voltage property are relayed back and forth via the middleware. Different screens need access to voltage control and therefore the voltage property. How does one handle this TouchGFX?Thanks in advance.Mike Zomo
With simulator, the screenshots can be token by F3.However, I am not sure if it is possible to download current display from target / host when debugging ?
Hi,I'm using the TouchGFX 4.18.1 and trying to program the STM32469I-EVAL board with a video widget. I selected the proper eval board then added the video widget. Success for generate code. Simulator works fine. But, 'Run Target' fails with the following error:TouchGFX/generated/gui_generated/src/screen1_screen/Screen1ViewBase.cpp:6:10: fatal error: videos/VideoDatabase.hpp: No such file or directory #include <videos/VideoDatabase.hpp>What an I missing? Thanks,Ari
Hello TouchGFX Community I just want to make you aware of this project from OptoLab. Is this something you are aware of ? and if you find it beneficial such project please comment. Link: https://github.com/OptoLAB/Mikromedia-7-Capacitive-TouchGFX
Hi,I have a problem with setting up a touchGFX.I'm trying to configure touchGFX to work with FMC display and external RAM.But every time code get stucked at configAssert.Do you know what could be the issie of this problem?
Hi there !i'm gonna to 'play' with touchgfx , and after a help from community ii'm going to make my first program. And here i'm first problem. I wanto to change the name of a button after i touch and right now i just try to wrote that :void Screen1View::btn1(){ buttonWithLabel1.setLabelText(touchgfx::TypedText('t')); buttonWithLabel1.invalidate();} and i have a couple of question:1) dosen't work and afther the first touch the button look like continus to be push 2) i want write one phraselike Stop but i don't know how to do I hope some one can help me Have a good day Sergio
The latest H7 firmware pack version 1.9.1 introduces some changes to the OSPI initialization code which causes bitmaps stored in external flash to no longer be loader/displayed correctly. If working with the TBS for the STM32H7B3 Eval board we recommend to continue using the FW pack version 1.9.0 as of now./Romain
