[Fixed Jan 24 2022] Issue connecting to Internet with TouchGFX Designer 4.16.1 and older

There is a current issue with TouchGFX Designer 4.13 to 4.16.1 where it cannot create a SSL/TLS secure channel, and therfor TouchGFX Designer cannot access the server and download projects and examples.

We are currently investigating to fix this but in the meantime here is the workaround:

• Navigate to the folder where TouchGFX is installed. For example C:\TouchGFX\4.16.0\designer and open TouchGFXDesigner-4.16.0.exe.config with notepad or another code editor.
• Replace the code section with the "PackagesUrl" setting by

http://sw-center-st-com.s3-eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/touchgfx/pacman/packages.json.zip
