Hi,I think ther is a bug on touchGFX 4.20.0If you choose the object "static graph"Insert in "Y-axis Range Min" = 60Insert in "X-axis Range Min" = 0Insert in "X-axis Range Max" = 8Then click into the box Y-axis Min (where you have insert 60), now the value into the X Max it changes by itself in 60.0001 and is impossible to change this value. This is a big problem for us because our develop is stopped.Mario
Hello,I just try the latest 4.19.1 (coming from 4.18.1) and the performance of this new release is just horrible in my project. Regarding the release note, I do not see anything that can really explain a slowest behaviour as it seems most of the upgrade are regarding the designer for font converter. So except if not fonts are handle really differently in the touchgfx framework, I really have no idea of what happens. I will roll back to 4.18.1. One more thing, but there is a crash now when removing all pages from a swiper, this was possible in older version (I am removing all pages to reorganize them depending of customer wishing). If someone has an idea or share the same experience, will be really appreciated to share.
I'm trying to generate a callback for tracking the progress bar updates. For this purpose I would like to use "setValueUpdatedAction" or "setValueSetAction" functions (which are defined in library). However I couldn't generate the callback or handler. Please share the callback and handler template with me!
Hi...I have configure the slider Widget using TOUCHGFX & it is working fine with Touch. But the want to Configure the slider without touch i.e., When I give some Data through Usart , according to that data the slider knob has to move (Without touching knob). Is it Possible to configure ? If Yes , How ?
HiI couldn't find a platform toolset library (v143) for visual studio 2022.Do you have any plan on whether this will be provided?Or maybe you already have them and could post them here?Thanks/jimmii
Hi,Here is how my widgets are currently rendered on my ST32F769I-discovery board. I know the problem is related to the external flash because the only image saved in the internal flash is displayed properly but I don't know exactly where the problem stems from and which parameters I've got to modify to make everything looks right. Thanks for your help.
Hi all, I m very new using stm32CubeIDE and TouchGFX.I m trying to interface the two, but when creating a new project on TouchGFX, I am unable to find the stm32f446 Mcu to start my screen design.Am i doing something wrong ?
Can anyone suggest a better way to develop the application. Do i need to strictly follow the MVP architecture for all the screens. Currently using the TouchGFX tool to generate the code, which makes the Frontend application file quite large. Any general steps/ideas while developing such large application.
Hi, I have a common custom container that is included in all my views.I need to access a method from the model, usually, in a view, I do this from the presenter, how can I do this in the custom container in a general way without passing the view to the custom container? Thanks,Eyal
Error: L6218E: Undefined symbol touchgfx::paint::rgb565::lineFromColor(unsigned short*, unsigned, unsigned, unsigned char, unsigned) (referred from painterrgb565.o).How to resolve?
Hello,I am getting this compilation error when running simulator:error: 'mutex' in namespace 'std' does not name a typeFrom the informations I had found about this topic, this error is caused by used thread model of MINGW32. Hello,I created a test project (Riverdi_101STM32H7-4.20) on the side of my main project the other day about managing a clock between multiple screens via a container (see here : https://community.st.com/s/question/0D53W00001g13KBSAY/custom-container-on-multiple-screen-set-digitalclock-problem-solved )I recently tried to replace my digitalClocks in my screens of my main project by a digitalClock in a container (banner). I copied exactly the same code as in my test project but it failed to work. Indeed, the behavior of the clock was really weird. It started back at 08:25:36 in the first screen (normal because it's the time I set), but then it was 00:00:00 in the second screen and 12:40:28 in the third one.I tried everything, renaming mytickCounter, renaming the clockbanner widget, but nothing worked.I printed on my screens the tickCounter/60 to see the problem.1st screen: number of seconds/ticks goes well. It stops counting (pauses) when I change screens but comes back to the good number
HI theremy pervious post explains the issue https://community.st.com/s/question/0D53W00001lTyoOSAS/read-parallel-cmos-adc-using-nucleoh743zi2after a bit of research I found that I can use the DCMI(digital camera interface) as an input to the ADC because it allow faster sampling speeds, starting by setting the DCMI in salve 8 bit embedded synchro mode which sets the dcmi pins 8 data bins(DCMI_D[0-7]), 1 clock pin (DCMI_PIXCLK) and ignores the [HSYNC&VSYNC] clocks. I wrote this code but its not working can you help me out with it plz
I updated my TouchGFX from version 4.18.1 to version 4.20.0 and noticed that it is no longer possible to set the "LineSpacing". In the old version, if you had a text area with several lines, you could increase or decrease the line spacing pixel by pixel using the "LineSpacing" value. If I now change this value in TouchGFX version 4.20.0, this no longer has any influence on the line spacing of the text. Is there a reason why this function no longer works?Has anyone found a solution to this problem?
I defined a text in 3 languages in Texts in Designer. When I set the language in the designer, my label is translated correctly. Then I made 3 buttons and assigned "ChangeLanguage" action to each. When I run the application and click the buttons - nothing happens. Here's the function the TouchGFX generated:void Screen1ViewBase::buttonCallbackHandler(const touchgfx::AbstractButton& src) { if (&src == &langGB) { //Interaction1 //When langGB clicked set language GB //Change language to GB Texts::setLanguage(GB); invalidate(); //Interaction4 //When Interaction1 completed call virtual function //Call redraw redraw(); } else if (&src == &langPL) { //Interaction2 //When langPL clicked set language PL //Change language to PL Texts::setLanguage(PL); invalidate(); //Interaction5 //When Interaction2 completed call virtual function //Call redraw redraw(); } else if (&src == &langZA) { //Interaction3 //When langZA clicked set languag
i use disco-f429zi.Is it possible to stemwin from mbed os?I tried to use the STemwin library STemWin_CM4_wc16.a file provided by the cube fw_f4 firmware pack, but the code process stopped at GUI_Init().The development environment is keil uvision5. Is it possible to use STemWin library files in mbed os?
Hi, we are developing a software using TouchGFX. Everything seems to work fine until I need to erase a section of the flash. After that, the TouchGFX process seems to stop working and the display is not updated anymore. This is hard to debug since there are no sources available for the TouchGFX library but "TouchGFXHAL::flushFrameBuffer" is not being called anymore. I found someone else having flash issues with TouchGFX too: https://community.st.com/s/question/0D53W000003ws65SAA/problems-using-internal-flashI would like to ask, is TouchGFX doing something with the flash under the hood that may be affected with flash operations?
Hi,I have 4 screens for my program. Everything works in O0 optimization. However I noticed that there was a problem about the screen that has a video in Ofast optimization. Just to be sure, I removed the video and everything works fine again. When I debugged to find the issue, I found out that there is something wrong with setVideoBuffer function in DedicatedBufferVideoController.hpp .I'm not sure about the function but there is a problem in VideoWidget.
I have a scroll wheel containing a dynamically-created list of items that I would like to be able to traverse using swiping or dragging motions. When the desired item is in view, I want the user to be able to select it with a touch press, just like you would with a button.According to the API documentation, the public function setItemSelectedCallback is supposed to be called when the selected item is clicked. The setAnimateToCallback is supposed to be called when the scroll wheel animates to a new item. I have set both of these up, but I get both callbacks every time the AnimatedTo item changes. In other words, I can swipe down on my list, and when the animation stops, I always get both callbacks, even though I did not click on any item. This seems like improper behavior. How do I get a 'clicked-on' item? I do realize that the 'clicked-on' item will be animated to become the selected item. I just don't want to get the SelectedItemCallback from a swipe or a drag.FYI, I have modified the
Hi,I am using a STM32H7B3I_DK board with a graphics app using TouchGFX. I'm only using 7% of this and would like to use the top end of this memory to store system tuneable parameters, WiFi SSID's, controller tuning parameters etc.Has anyone done this or something similar?I understand you have to switch memory modes to erase and write.I could work it out, but I'm a bit pressed for time so if someone has done it that would help me greatly. I would have used the battery backed (4k) ram on the MPU, but sadly the designer didn't make this available, you have to cut tracks to separate the Vbat from Vdd.I am developing a project using the Inventek WiFi module which I intend to post when I've finished the documentation (README). I will incorporate the OCTO Spi code into this as a working project for others to use.RegardsRob
