Hello all, The model::tick() and screen::handleTickEvent(), which is calling first? How do I query the tickEvent() calling sequence (model / screen / widget) ??
I would like to change the size of a boxProgress. But the Width and Height are lock all time. Thanks for help.
Hello,I'm trying to comunicate with backend. In particular, I created a variable in the main.c file and I would like the variable to generate events (for example image change) in my graphic project.. Is there anyone who has a solution? Thank you
I have used CubeMX to generate an application structure for the STM32F746 DISCO board. When trying to run the most basic application, during the initialisation, TIM6 is set to be the HAL tick source, when it is enabled, it immediately jumps to its interrupt, and then gets repeated called, stopping any further progress. This is also happening with the TouchGFX code taken from the example library.
Hi, I'm working under not very restricted medical device with WiFi logging. This is quite a big project, requires processing of many string data so I want some easier tools. I know that in general it is not good to use heap on embedded, but H7 seems to have so much resources. One part is communication with ESP32 - it has UART interface with custom JSON string protocol based on cJSON library. This library parses cstring to heap allocated structure, and in the same function free it. I added custom smart pointer wrapper to make it safer in deallocating. To further secure messaging I use custom option wrapper (like optional in >= C++20) - agan move semantics.Mostly I use std::strings to construct messages provided to ESP32, pass it between functions hoping that move semantics works.I know what is heap segmentation. And my questions:is move semantics with rule of zero works when compiling with -std=gnu++14?relatively short strings are processed on stack, is it true in embedded?can I use hea
I want to know the calculations required to figuring out the hardware required to get drive a perticular LCD(Resolution) on a STM32 Hardware.-RAM -MCU Clock-FMC SPEED
Hello. I use a SwipeContainer with 2 pages. I have a button with which I want to switch to another page. But the simulator and also the STM32F7508 crashes. Does anyone have an idea to solve this problem?

Hey,I wanna interface LCD1602A with my MPU, STM32F411RE. I looked at the document of LCD but there are lots of it from different manufacturers. There isn't any sign on my LCD about its manufacturer. Though, anyway, I wanna implement its driver code using HAL Library. However, I cannot understand how to do it, because one of the document described the initialization process while others didn't.Is there anyone who explain me how to do that? Or a good source for this?
When changed the setExpandedStateTimeout of the slide control the delay is not as expected, when placina a value of 4000 instead of 4 seconds I'm getting a very long delay and when placing 100 Im getting around 4 seconds
I'm using STM32H743ZITX for displaying a 1280X720 LCD, first i set FMC frequency to 266 MHz and LTDC frequency to 20, everything was running well and i can read data from SDRAM was same as what i've written to it, but problems come when i set the frequency of LTDC to 64 MHz, when i read data from the SDRAM the datas was being random and didnt same anymore as what i've written before.could you guys please share your experiece if you have this problem or any suggestion what i have todo?here i share my clock configuration on STM32CUBEIDE
Hi,I've inherited a project which was designed using the STM32F746-G Discovery board as a reference design. It uses an RK043FN48H display with touch, same as what is used on the discovery board. The TouchGFX library is used for the graphics. The BSP for the discovery board is used in our design. We've recently discovered that this display is going obsolete due to obsolescence of the FT5336 CTP IC.Our software uses the drivers written by ST for this display and CTP chip and we want to avoid having to write our own drivers. The recommended alternative uses the GT911 CTP but it doesn't look like ST have written any drivers for this?Is there a recommended 4.3" display that would be software compatible with existing code written for the RK043FN48H. Or alternatively, is there a different 24-bit RGB display that uses a CTP IC which has pre-written drivers which could be easily imported into our codebase without having to do a rewrite? Thanks!
I have setup STM32F429i Disco With 7" TFT 800x480 LCD (RGB) and 18 Bit Interface but I am getting very low frame rates as shown in video
Dear All,I'm developing on STM32F746 Discovery kit and I need to change the FT5336 touch controller sensivity because I need to cover the display with plexiglass.I'm developing the project with TouchGfx tool.I tried to search some documentation but I can't find anythings about.Does someone know how to do it?Thank you very much
Hello,I upgraded my project from version 4.16.1 to 4.21.1, and after re-generating the project in the touchgfx editor and copying all libjpeg files (includes and libs) from a demo project that uses a video in the folder Middlewares\ST\TouchGFX\touchgfx\3rdparty\libjpeg, and after adding all required paths in VS for the project to link correctly, I got this error when I run the project in VS : Code execution can't continue because libjpeg-8.dll was not found. This problem can be solved by reinstalling the software (which software are they talking about?!)The libjpeg-8.dll file however is in the lib directory, next to the .libjpeg-8.a and libjpeg-8.libAny help would be more than welcomed as I've no idea how to solve this problem. Thanks.
Hello,we are aiming to display our TouchGFX Application on our F7469I Evaluation Board on an external Monitor. We wanted to make use of the B-LCDAD-HDMI1 adapter Board.Up to now we did not manage to output any kind of signal to the monitor.I attached our main.c our configuration file and our TouchGFXHal.cpp to this post. Our Project was imported from TouchGFX designer, that way our display was instantly running and we only needed to implement the backend. The TouchGFX Designer Project automatically generated fitting "User Code" in the TouchGFXHal.cpp file. To me it seems like, the default display is split in half and updated alternately.Do we need to adapt this code to our adapter board or can we leave this code as it is.We already tried to configure the ADV7533 via the BSP/Components/ Driver from the Repository. But there is still no signal.adv7533ConfigTypeDef configuration; configuration.DSI_LANES = 2; configuration.HACT = OTM8009A_800X480_WIDTH; configuration.HBP = OTM8009A_480X8
Hello everyone,I encountered a problem while modifiying the STM32F746G-Discovery board.I modified it like this: switched the 4.3" display to a 5" display (24 bit RGB--> RGB888, 800x480)modified the LTDC settings to match the new display (Can there be an error?)set the LCD-TFT clock to 38.4 MHZ (according to the datasheet)used the touch controller FT5446 instead of the FT5336modified the driver code (it's really similar)Everytime I touch the display, I get some noises, but the touchscreen itself works completely fine. After lifting my finger off the display, the screen looks like it should.See the video I added. Has anyone a hint for me, what could be wrong? Thank you very much!
Hello,I'm currently in the process of upgrading my version of touchgfx from v 16.1 to the last one. In one of my class, I use the PainterVerticalAlpha and I just saw that it was changed from v16 to v17. The documentation isn't very precise as it just says The "PainterVerticalAlpha" used in our demos have also been updated. In which demo can I get it?I know I could just use the new static and dynamic graph widgets instead of having to rely on my one graph class but I don't want to change it by now. Thanks in advance.

Hi dearsIs there any limitation to adding images and text to TouchGFX?
Hi dearsthanks in advance to produce and developing TouchGFX Software.I have some advice for the new update of this software. It would be good if we can have groups for images like groups available for texts.we can improve our management of images when we have lots of them.
I am working on a STM32H745XI DISCO board and every time when I want to display text starting at the left edge on the screen, there is always a 2 pixel offset to the right. I have been looking around the whole code files; GUI.h, LCD.h, etc to find out the culprit for this offset, but in vain.Has someone faced the same issue or know how to solve this?Attached is the code that displays text and drawing:void MainTask(void) { GUI_Clear(); GUI_DrawGradientV(0, 0, 99, 99, 0x0000FF, 0x00FFFF); GUI_DrawGradientV(380, 172, 480, 272, 0x0000FF, 0x00FFFF); GUI_DispStringAt("Remove this offset please",0,0); GUI_DispStringAt("Hello world!", (LCD_GetXSize()-100)/2, (LCD_GetYSize()-20)/2); GUI_DrawCircle(40, 231, 40); char storedvalueX[5], storedvalueY[5]; itoa(LCD_GetXSize(), storedvalueX, 10); itoa(LCD_GetYSize(), storedvalueY, 10); GUI_DispStringAt(storedvalueX,100,50); GUI_DispStringAt(storedvalueY,100,GUI_GetFontSizeY()*4); }Even though I asked the microcont
Hello, everyoneI just want to display the analog voltage value on Touchgfx using STM32H735g-dk, but the textAreaBuffer just didn't update the value that I want it to show, my code are as follows:?Model.cpp】#include <gui/model/Model.hpp>#include <gui/model/ModelListener.hpp>#include <cmsis_os.h> //addextern osSemaphoreId binarySemAnalogHandle; //addextern uint16_t uhADCxConvertedValue[10]; //addModel::Model() : modelListener(0){}void Model::tick(){ if(binarySemAnalogHandle != NULL) //add { if(osSemaphoreWait(binarySemAnalogHandle, 100) == osOK) { analogUpdatepresenter(); } }}void Model::analogUpdatepresenter() //add{ uint32_t sum = 0; uint32_t average = 0; for(int i = 0; i < 10; i++) { sum += uhADCxConvertedValue[i]; } average = sum / 10; modelListener->analogUpdatepresenter(average);}?Screen1Presenter.cpp】#include <gui/screen1_screen/Screen1View.hpp>#include <gui/screen1_screen/Screen1Presenter.hpp>Screen1Presenter::Screen1Presente
hello, I try to get one when something not desired is detected by the camera and else 0 so I can use my custom trained CNN with the help of x cube ai. Fp ai vision is used to display iamge on LCD how can I get my request by changing or adding the codes in it. I tried to add some code depending on the fp ai vision but it didn't work
