Hello,I need to connect SD card to STM32H5 device. CubeMX does not support fatfs I was using in the past, but only ThreadX and FileX. We decided to use this as STM32H5 seems like a good choice for many future projects. So we connected the SD via SPI.My understanding is that I need to enable Custom interface like this: And than implement several low level functions in FileX/Targer/fx_stm32_custom_driver.c. This looks like this should be common task, but I could find no examples anywhere. Is there something I could use or at least some useful documentation regarding the custom driver?Thank you Jeronym
Hi!May I ask the relevant safety experts from ST, I have now applied for the STEVAL-SILKT01 development board from ST Company and have signed the NDA. Are there any demo examples related to the STEVAL-SILKT01 development board? If so, could you provide some information on where I can find these demo examples? Thank you very much!
In the reference manual for the G474, under HRTIM Burst mode control register (HRTIM_BMCR), bit 31 is the BMSTAT register; it gives the current operating status of the burst mode feature. But it states that writing this bit to zero causes early burst mode termination... and I don't think this is actually true. If I try to write to it, it seems to fail and doesn't actually enter burst mode. Does bit zero, BME, control the burst mode CONTROLLER itself, aka, if burst mode entry is possible at all, or is that the actual bit I'm supposed to modify to exit burst mode? Thank you.
I would like to know if the binary recording file (BLE_Ota_reference.bin) that is in the folder pathC:\Users...\STM32Cube_FW_WB_V1.22.0\Projects\P-NUCLEO-WB55.Nucleo\Applications\BLE\BLE_Ota that is seenis in the path P-Nucleo-WB55.Nucleo can be used in other microcontrollers (even STM32WB55), but with differentcharacteristics such as Flash Size, smaller pinouts (Example of the Nucleo kit uses 68 pins STM32WB55GVx) andwhat I want to use is the STM32WB55CE microcontroller that has 48 pins and smaller Flash space.

Hi, I have recently purchased a STLINK-V3PWR with the intent of using it to measure power consumption on my board. Previously I used STLINK-V3SET's JTAG port (MB1440 CN2) to connect to my target board. The STLINK-V3PWR only comes with STDC14 connection for target connection, can I remove MB1440 from STLINK-V3SET and use it as an adaptor board? i.e. have STLINK-V3PWR debug STSDC14 -> MB1440 CN1 -> MB1440 CN2 -> target board?thank you very much for your help.
Hi,I have spent the last two days trying to build a demo application that connects a B-L475E-IOT01A1 to AWS.However, I keep finding that the demos will not build due to it needing an old tool chain. The documentation for the board on how to run AWS FreeRTOS, is from 2018 and references older AWS free RTOS version, none of the STM documentation tells you how and where to download source code from. The AWS help on FreeRTOS has not helped. Most available documentation appears to be deprecated. So the bottom line is:"Is there a definitive, step by step, guide on how to set up and run an AWS demo on a B-L475E-IOT01A1?"I would prefer to use STM32CubeIDE, however, to get myself out of a death spiral I'm prepared to try another tool chain.Or am I wasting my time?ThanksJorgie
Subject: Ethernet Init Issue on STM32H573RIT6 with LAN8742Hello ST Community,I’m currently working on a project using the STM32H573RIT6 and I’m using STM32CubeMX and STM32CubeIDE as my development tools. My project setup is bare-metal (no RTOS) and I’ve successfully configured several peripherals already. Now I’m trying to bring up Ethernet using the LAN8742 PHY, which is connected via RMII. However, I’m encountering an issue during initialization — specifically, HAL_ETH_Init() fails and returns the error:HAL_ETH_ERROR_TIMEOUT.Here’s my setup:MCU: STM32H573RIT6PHY: LAN8742 (on custom hardware)Interface: RMIIConfigured using STM32CubeMX (default settings mostly)No RTOS — standalone implementationUsing STM32Cube HAL driversI’ve double-checked the hardware connections — 50 MHz clock is present, reset pin is pulled correctly, and MDIO/MDC lines are connected properly. The PHY address is set to 0 (default), and matches the CubeMX configuration.Questions:What usually causes HAL_ETH_ERROR_TIME

I'm trying to code the NUCLEO-H755ZI-Q in the Arduino IDE and it uploads but won't run. I have the USB connected to USBPWR and the jumper connected to STLINK. The code is written like this: void setup() { Serial.begin(115200); while (!Serial); Serial.println("NUCLEO-H755ZI-Q: Hello from M7 core!"); } void loop() { Serial.println("Looping..."); delay(1000); } The code was uploaded but nothing was output on the serial monitor. Please let me know why and how to fix it. Thank you. *This post has been translated from Korean to comply with the ST Community guidelines.
I want to make a project using h7r7 and enable touchgfx,In CUBEIDE,I chose both boot project and application project, but I can not check touchgfx for application project, and it is forcely checked for boot project, can't be changed.Any one knows this problem?is it a bug ?So,clearly the touchgfx files is generated under Boot Project.I tried in cubemx, but the same result.
Hi, This is my first time here to write a post. I want to implement a system that connnects a STM32H723(master) and four STM32G030F6P6s(slave) via SPI communication. I connected them and I check the SPI signals from STM32H723(NSS, SCK, MOSI). The Signals are fine. The problem is that any of STM32G030F6P6 doesn't work. More precisely, I don't know how to setup STM32G030 SPI as a slave mode. I tried to find some example code for STM32G030 SPI slave, but I could not find anything. Do you have any solution? I check the related GPIO Port modes(Altenate Function to NSS, SCK, MOSI, MISO), and Check the SPI1->CR1, SPI1->CR2, SPI1->SR (0x00000400, 0x00001700, 0x00000002). This means SPI was enabled, RX FIFO Threshold 8bit/8bit data. TX FIFO Empty). When I Wrote to SPI1->DR(this means writing to TX FIFO) SPI1->SR changed to 0x00018000. This means Frame Error in TI mode(which was disabled) and SPI busy. I don't use any SPI interrupts. Do
Hi everyone,I'm new to bootloader development and currently working on my first STM32 bootloader project using an STM32F103. I’m trying to make a minimal bootloader that simply jumps to an application located at 0x08001000. There’s no USB, no UART, no DFU — just a basic check and jump.#define APP_ADDRESS 0x08001000 typedef void (*pFunction)(void); pFunction JumpToApplication; uint32_t JumpAddress; int main(void) { HAL_Init(); SystemClock_Config(); MX_GPIO_Init(); if (1) { HAL_GPIO_WritePin(CHIP_LED_GPIO_Port, CHIP_LED_Pin, GPIO_PIN_SET); HAL_Delay(100); HAL_GPIO_WritePin(CHIP_LED_GPIO_Port, CHIP_LED_Pin, GPIO_PIN_RESET); HAL_Delay(100); __disable_irq(); HAL_RCC_DeInit(); SCB->VTOR = APP_ADDRESS; JumpAddress = *(__IO uint32_t*)(APP_ADDRESS + 4); JumpToApplication = (pFunction)JumpAddress; __set_MSP(*(__IO uint32_t*)APP_ADDRESS); JumpToApplication(); } while (1) { HAL_GPIO_TogglePin(CHIP_LED_GPIO_Port, CHIP_LED_Pin); HAL_Delay(2000); } }The application is pla
Hi allI have an IIR filter design with 7 coefficients. (For feed-forward and for feed-back)Regularly all the coeffs are between -1 to +1So I Just multiply each by 2^15 to get it in q1.15 format. However, now, the feedforward coeffs are very small (0.0000000001 or something like that)and the feedback coeffs are up to 30.How to initialize the system to get it work?

hi ST team supportI’m using the STM32WB09 to develop my locator tag device application, and I have a few questions:Does the STM32WB SDK support the Google Fast Pair service?Do you have any documentation or example code on how to use Google Fast Pair to create a locator tag device that is compatible with Android’s Find My Device app?
I am trying to flash BSP example from https://github.com/STMicroelectronics/STM32CubeU5/tree/main/Projects esp. the ones for STM32U5A9J-DK. While trying to compile BSP : https://github.com/STMicroelectronics/STM32CubeU5/tree/main/Projects/STM32U5x9J-DK/Examples/BSP, I am not able to get a compiled binary to flash. Tried following ways to import the checkout code in STMCubeIDE -1) "Open project from file system" or "Import -> Projects from Folder or Archive" - Build not enabled2) "Existing project in workspace" -> "Copy project in workspace"Errormake -j8 allmake: *** No rule to make target '/Utilities/lcd/stm32_lcd.c', needed by 'Utilities/stm32_lcd.o'. Stop.3) "Import" -> "File System"Cannot import into a workspace with no open projects. Please create a project before importing.what is the first way to get these examples build and flashed.
If ADC1 is continous mode, what's the maximum value for R14? I think the higher the R14 the better, but if too high, the ADC1 value may lower than real.
Greetings,In my application i have initialized STM32F205RG with USB High Speed Host for detecting USB Key board and I2C2 for communicating with DS3231 RTC Module. RTC module works prefectly when i don't initialize USB HS peripheral, but when both initialized in the project then I2C2 always sends me HAL_BUSY state. Is there any solution or work around for this problem ? I am using cube mx for code generation and initialiazation. Thanks.
Hello GaysI'm trying to read the gyroscope ICM 20948, specifically register 51, but I'm not getting anything. Can someone take a look and give me some suggestions?
I can c in RM0033 (Rev9) Figure 18, that PA2 is connected with low impedance to a diode to V_DD, if PA2 is configured as analog input...In Doc ID 15818 Rev 9 I see that R_ADC is at least 1.5kR...If I connect PA2 in analog mode directly to 5V: Would I create a high current through that diode to V_DD (in my case 3.3V)? Or would the current be less than 1mA (1.4V/1500)? Google's Gemini and DeepSeek say, that that would damage the ADC or its MUX...In RM0033 (Rev9) Figure 13 it looks like, I can still read the analog value on PA2, if PA2 is configured as digital output (open drain and BSRR|=(1<<2)).Should I connect PA2 via 50kR to the difficult voltage? I cannot use a voltage divider, because that would interfere with the external pull-up resistor at PA2... I try to read CC1 of a USB-C host port... and DeepSeek says, that the USB-C device might possibly decide to connect CC1 to 5V, although I hoped, that the USB-C cable would not allow that...
Hello everyone,I am working on a system based on the STM32H747BIT6 MCU and do not plan to use the DSI interface. I have searched through various forums but still have some doubts about the proper power pin configuration when DSI is not in use. Here is what I have so far:VSSDSI: Connected to GNDVCAPDSI: Connected to VDD12DSI (capacitor not required)VDD12DSI: Uncertain about the correct connection. I would like to avoid using an LDO to step down from 3.3V to 1.2VDoes anyone have experience with this setup or any recommendations on the best approach for VDD12DSI?Thanks in advance.
I have a custom board based on the STM32F407IGT6 and I'm having trouble connecting via ST-Link (v2 clone) using STM32CubeProgrammer. It seems st-link unable to find the target mcu. I checked all SWDIO, SWCLK, NRST, VDD, GND connections with a multimeter. I've used the ST-link with my another custom board that have STMF446RE and I can connect with no problem. BOOT0 pin is grounded and I can see NRST pin has 3.3V when board is connected with an external power supply. Custom board has only MCU soldered (and needed caps and resistors that connects to mcu). Board is powered externally and ST-link's 3.3V pin is also connected to target. I also have replaced MCU with a new one but this didn't changed anything. What could be going wrong or I should check? I also attached schematics of the board if that helps.
Hi I am currently trying to convert a project for the STM32 Motor Workbench by creating a custom inverter board. However when trying to create the workbench project by connecting the motor to my custom board I either get a current sensing error or the board doesnt even appear because it is not correctly configured. The project was first realised in PLECS and because of the reduced number of ADC for the phases U and V the ADC4 Channel 1 and 2 are used but for the third phase the second channel of ADC2 is used. I dont know if this could be an issue. I added the error file, an image of the error and the custom board file to this post. The custom board file still has some values that are the correct values for later as I am just trying to get the custom board to work with the workbench software, but I correctly configured the pins. I would be really happy if someone could help me.Kind RegardsElias
