Hi everyone, I’m working on a design using an STM32H7 MCU communicating with a GPS/GNSS module over UART. Unfortunately, during board routing, the RTS and CTS lines were connected directly (RTS↔RTS, CTS↔CTS) instead of crossed. I understand that for proper hardware flow control, they should be: STM32 RTS → GPS/GNSS CTS STM32 CTS ← GPS/GNSS RTS At this stage, I can’t modify the hardware or rework the PCB, but I’d still like to maintain some form of flow control or transmission reliability if possible.
I am looking for a button implementation for the Setting button way to achieve the steps:1. At the start, the Setting button is in OFF state on screen12. Press once, the interaction will change to setting screen for specific settings, this screen will have 2 clicks buttons CONFIRM and CANCEL. a. If the settings is done and CONFIRM button is clicked, the settings are saved and return back to screen1 the Setting button should show the ON state.b. If the cancel button is clicked, there will be no saving and return back to screen1 with the Setting button is in OFF state3. If the Setting was in ON state after successfully CONFIRM the setting, press one more time, the Setting button should go back to OFF state, and NO screen changing.I am be able to use the toggle button to implement the Setting button, and by create the interaction to do the screen switch from the first press, and don't call the interaction on the second press to achieve the OFF, Switch Screen, CONFIRM, Go back t
I'm attempting to use a stm32g030 as an I2C slave device however the mcu fails to accept connections with the master device. I have run this code on several different board including several using a stm32g031 but experience the same issue so I am tentatively ruling out a hardware error. I use physical pull-up registers on SDA and SCL.I have printed out several important registers after calling 'i2c_slave_init'.GPI0A->AFR[1]: 0x00066000I2C2->OAR1: 0x00008010I2C2->CR1: 0x000000bdI2C2->IIMINGR: 0x10b17db5PCLK1 = 64000000 HzThere must be something I'm failing to do in my code but I've been staring at code for so long I simply don't see it. Which pin is the VSSA of STM32L051K8U6?
As title really. Keyboard project i'm working on in QMK required a bit more RAM so upgraded from the STMf401 to an STM32F412xE. Flashed firmware onto it RGB animations and OLED work correctly but USB device not recognised by computer. STM32cubeprogrammer shows 1mb of flash memory so concerned if JLCPCB have swapped it out for another model which would potentially be incompatible or just striahgt upgraded to the xG wtihout mentioning anything? Anybody experienced anything similar?

Please read this post: How to insert source code I am trying to use USB(CDC) without the VBus connection on the STM32H755(Nuclueo-H755ZI-Q). But I can't. Please tell me the correct confinglation and procedure I use ST USB middleware with CDC class. There is no sample project for STM32H755. So I ported myself. It worked.(with VBus) I changed following points for using without VBus. comment out following.(main() "main.c") HAL_PWREx_EnableUSBVoltageDetector(); comment out followings.(void HAL_PCD_MspInit(PCD_HandleTypeDef * hpcd) "usbd_conf.c") /* Configure VBUS Pin */ GPIO_InitStruct.Pin = GPIO_PIN_9; GPIO_InitStruct.Mode = GPIO_MODE_INPUT; GPIO_InitStruct.Pull = GPIO_NOPULL; HAL_GPIO_Init(GPIOA, &GPIO_InitStruct); And I checked this. Hi everyone, I’m currently working with an STM32H747 and trying to perform SD card write operations using core M4. The SMMC1 peripheral is connected to the D1 domain, which (as far as I understand) means that the M4 core (D2 domain) doesn’t have direct access to it. When I try to write to the SD card from M4 (using MDMA), it always fails — f_mkfs returns an error. However, when I run exactly the same code on core M7, everything works perfectly fine. So my questions are: Does it make sense that the M4 cannot access SMMC1 because of the D1 domain connection? Is there any way to make SD write operations work from the M4 core (for example, through shared memory, DMA Settings, or another workaround)? Thanks in advance.
I have a Nucleo-64 STM32F411RE. It's cool. I can program it, debug code and everything nice. But it's too large, however! I need to pack my projects to be as small as possible in order to ship to the market. I need an official stm32 board with an included St-Link and features like nearly what a Blue Pill board offers, for now. At first I thought of NUCLEO-F042K6. Good price (10.8 USD), good size, ST-Link included, but its features may not be enough. What do you suggest?
I am implementing custom CAN bootloaders for H725, G491, and H563. I would like to use the same bootloader across all MCUs.Are the flash interfaces across these MCUs close enough that a common bootloader is feasible? [I haven't compared the reference manuals yet]If there are differences, does HAL hide them?
After some time I found the tool displaying an error of sort, I think something regarding inactivity.Following that I can't close the sampling window. I can't move it or minimize it , or press any button in its GUI. All buttons are unresponsive.I can open a new instance of the STM32CubeMonitor-Power, and I can move to other Windows apps. But the windows is still there. Stuck.

Hi all.I'm brand new to the STM32 so please excuse my lack of knowledge.I'm looking into this microcontroller as I have 'found' a Motor Control Nucleo Pack (or at least its contents) left unused by a former colleague, I'd like to try and get it working as a lead in to using the STM32, I've previously used Arduino and want to see if this has advantages.I have the STM32 and IHM07M1 motor control board from the pack along with the motor but I don't have any instruction manual or software files, I don't even know what it should have come with.I have loaded and installed the IDE, MX and Prog today (11-Oct-2025) and instlled the latest L4 files V1.18.1. Plugged in the STM32 board and see the power light initiallyi illuminate red then change to green. I also get an E:\ drive on my computer with 3 small files (DETAILS.TXT, FAIL.TXT & MBED.HTM).With the IDE open I don't see any comm's with the board but then I don't know whether I should or how I would do so, hence not necessari
I have setup a Nucleo-F103RB as a USB composite device by (CDC + HID) by modifying a STM32CubeMX CDC project. The device enumerates correctly and everything works initially, however I am encountering a strange bug where if I open a COM port to read the CDC data and then close it, the HID portion stops responding until I open the COM port again. Also worth mentioning I am using FreeRTOS with separate tasks for sending HID report and CDC data.Does anybody know where to look to fix this bug? Thanks in advance.
Hi!I disassembled a BLDC motor from a popular hammer drill. It has two pairs of windings and three PCBs:- a main rectifier with a simple 16V voltage converter;- a set of six IGBTs and one 5mΩ shunt resistor;- a regulator with several drivers, operational amplifiers, and a microcontroller. It also has built-in HAL circuits.I scrapped the last PCB and made my own driver and measurement circuit, copying the originals, but I used an STM32G431 for control and acquisition. The goal is to achieve stable and reliable torque in this machine. The use of a single shunt resistor forced me to use a single-resistor circuit; I also copied and used the HAL circuits. I generated the code using MCSDK v6.4.0 in FOC mode. The PWM operates at 5 kHz—the same as in the original. I spent some time tuning the parameters, but now it works well. The rotation is stable in both directions, and MotorPilot allowed me to adjust the rotation accordingly. However, one important parameter is very unstable—the torque
Hello,I am trying to get the USB HID working on STM32U073 with ZephyrOS.I took the sample code from https://github.com/zephyrproject-rtos/zephyr/tree/v4.2.0/samples/subsys/usb/hid-mouseAnd tried both the NEXT and legacy USB stack. However, when I boot, I always get the USB Not recognised popup along with the following logs: 00> [00:00:00.003,000] <dbg> usb_device: usb_enable: lock usb_enable_lock mutex 00> [00:00:00.011,000] <dbg> usb_descriptor: usb_get_device_descriptor: __usb_descriptor_start 0x20000594 00> [00:00:00.021,000] <dbg> usb_descriptor: usb_get_device_descriptor: __usb_descriptor_end 0x2000062e 00> [00:00:00.031,000] <dbg> usb_descriptor: usb_fix_descriptor: Device descriptor 0x20000594 00> [00:00:00.040,000] <dbg> usb_dc_stm32: usb_dc_ep_check_cap: ep 0, mps 64, type 0 00> [00:00:00.049,000] <dbg> usb_descriptor: usb_desc_update_mps0: Set bMaxPacketSize0 64 00> [00:00:00.057,000] <dbg> usb_desc
Device: STM32F411RE NUCLEOHello, I am having some issues with STM USBD AUDIO library. For some reason I cannot get it to stream audio data to a host device in a proper way.The device is successfully recognized as 2 channel 16 bit microphone by my PC.When I press the record button in windows recorder or audacity nothing happens. So far all I know is the USBD_AUDIO_DataIn is not getting called and from what I have read so far this is the function where I am supposed to be handling the sending data to host.I have been trying to get this working for weeks and I have had it working in the past with the following conditions: I put the LL_Transmit function in the USBD_AUDIO_SOF function. This worked as the audio data is supposed to get polled every 1ms anyway. Then I had the problem that every other packet sent was empty, so I added the LL_Transmit function back into DataIn stage and now my sine wave was being sent perfectly. Which is really weird if you think about it. I cannot imagine that t
Hi,I’m using the STSPIN32G0601Q (with the STM32G031C8 MCU) for a motor control project.I want to know if it’s possible to control multiple motors using this device or the STM32 Motor Control SDK.Thanks,Mathan
Good morningI am developing a three-phase motors drive board using the X-CUBE-MCSDK STM32 Motor Control Software Development Kit tool.In addition to the available control modes that we can utilize, we need to control a synchronous motor with a resolver and an induction motor with an incremental quadrature encoder. The currently available version (V.6.4.1) does not support the use of a sine-cosine resolver, a sensor widely used in PMSM synchronous motors, and induction motor control (available in version 5 of MCSDK) is not yet available in version 6.Can I know if these modes will be implemented in future developments of the tool? Many thanks
Hi everyone,Has anyone interfaced the Micron MT35XU02GCBA2G12-0AUT (2 Gbit xccela Flash) with the STM32N6 XSPI controller? I would like to know if it works with the existing Macronix presets or needs custom XSPI settings.Any working example or experience would help. Thanks!
Hello We would like to evaluate your STM32WBA55G and nucleo-WBA55CG boards for a project. So we have several questions:Is it possible to stream BLE audio between two STM32WBA55G boards by taking the sound from the Mems microphone and streaming it to the pc via the USB port (We could see the live audio of the audacity) If so, what examples should we use in your codes? Is it possible to do the same thing but having the nucleo connected to the PC and which to recover the audio in BLE. We would have the card STM32WBA55G further away that would be streaming the audio by picking up the audio from its microphoneIs it possible to connect a STM32WBA55G to an nRF5340 Audio via BLE audio? When will you have the final documentation for the software and hardware of the STM32WBA55G board?Kind regards
If I use STM32WBA65I-DK1 board, by enabling or using UAC (USB), can I stream multiple audio files for auracast application, like each song for each channel or subgroup.
Hello, I am working to implement LwIP onto my MCU (STM32H750VBT6TR) with the PHY (DP83825IRMQR). I got everything set up and was able to do a ping test and create a basic UDP client to send and receive packets (see this thread). This works well on my bare project with just these elements. The issue is that the amount of flash memory taken up by just adding the LwIP peripheral is absurd (it is a combined 110.8 kB out of 128 kB). This leaves little space for the rest of the code this needs to interface with. Looking at tutorials for LwIP implementations show that only around 77 kB is typically used. I am wondering if anyone can help me track down why so much flash memory is being used in my implementation and if it can be minimized? Project files are attached. Thanks in advance.
Hi everyone,Has anyone interfaced the MX66UW1G45GXDI00 (1Gbit octal SPI Flash) with the STM32N6 XSPI controller?Any working example or experience would help. Thanks!
