Hi! i am doing example pwm ws2812 with dma, configure the time 1 with ARR=60, using clock= 48 mhz, my pwm not working full buffer i don´t know why not work full buffer, the pwm have 12 pulse, i am sending for one led ws2812 is 24 pulse./* USER CODE END Header */ /* Includes ------------------------------------------------------------------*/ #include "main.h"   /* Private includes ----------------------------------------------------------*/ /* USER CODE BEGIN Includes */ #include "MATH.h" /* USER CODE END Includes */   /* Private typedef -----------------------------------------------------------*/ /* USER CODE BEGIN PTD */ #define MAX_LED 8 #define USE_BRIGHTNESS 0     uint8_t LED_Data[MAX_LED][4]; uint8_t LED_Mod[MAX_LED][4]; // for brightness   volatile int datasentflag; //uint16_t pwmData[(24*MAX_LED)+50];   uint32_t indx=0; uint32_t color; uint32_t cont=0; uint32_t data1=0;   //uint16_t pwmData[74];     /* USER CODE END PTD */   /*

In the context of a research project, I am using the STM32H743ZI2 microcontroller for object detection. However, I lack prior experience with camera interfacing and configuration. I am using a B-CAMS-OMV camera module. Therefore, I would be grateful for any relevant references or guidance to facilitate the successful implementation of this aspect of the project.

I'm trying to do some debugging using SWO on an STM32G474. After a very short amount of time no new packets are displayed in CubeIDE (usually after ~2500 packets). I limited the SWO frequency to various values between 100kHz and 8 MHz. Using an oscilloscope I can verify that the data is still being output at the correct rate by the MCU but no data is received by either the STLink probe or CubeIDE.I tried many combinations of settings (shared STLink, OpenOCD instead of ST-Link GDB server, reset mode, low power debug mode [I don't use low power modes], baudrate, etc.) and nothing worked.CubeIDE version 1.14.0.Debug log: STMicroelectronics ST-LINK GDB server. Hello,I am using STM32U575 and would like toimplement a PWM output. This should also work in Stop2-Mode.Clock for the LPTIM is LSE. It works with LPTIM1 and 3 without any problems. To generate a PWM in Stop2-mode, I use the LPBAM with LPDMA. Now I would try it with LPTIM2, too. But it hasn`t work so far. Is it even possible? LPTIM2 is connected to a different bus than the other LPTIMs.The data sheet states that autonomous mode should be possible with LPTIM2? Thank you in advance for your reply.

Hi,In the project that I saved-as (to rename) the DEBUG was set to JTAG (5 pins). After updating to STM32CubeMX version 6.11.0 I observe the JTAG (5 pin) option is unavailable.Below change (i.e. switched DEBUG to JTAG (4 pins))  was made by software automatically while saving the file.Regards,Rajeev

I've found a bug with how STM32CubeMX generates the USART3_4_LPUART1_IRQHandler function when using TRACER_EMB and USART4 on an STM32G071.When just USART4 and its NVIC interrupt is enabled, the function is generated as follows:void USART3_4_LPUART1_IRQHandler(void){/* USER CODE BEGIN USART3_4_LPUART1_IRQn 0 *//* USER CODE END USART3_4_LPUART1_IRQn 0 */HAL_UART_IRQHandler(&huart4); /* USER CODE BEGIN USART3_4_LPUART1_IRQn 1 *//* USER CODE END USART3_4_LPUART1_IRQn 1 */}But when both TRACER_EMB with LPUART1 and UART4, with their NVIC interrupts enabled the following is generated.void USART3_4_LPUART1_IRQHandler(void){/* USER CODE BEGIN USART3_4_LPUART1_IRQn 0 *//* USER CODE END USART3_4_LPUART1_IRQn 0 */TRACER_EMB_IRQHandlerUSART();/* USER CODE BEGIN USART3_4_LPUART1_IRQn 1 *//* USER CODE END USART3_4_LPUART1_IRQn 1 */}When an interrupt for UART4 is raised, it is not being handled which causes USART3_4_LPUART1_IRQHandler to be continually called. To reproduce, my setup isSTM32CubeIDE

I have a H563ZIT6 . I attach its I3C(used as target) to an I3C controller, and then i find that there is no register for static address in target mode in I3C of H563ZIT6, i just find DEVR0 for dynamic address. Does I3C of H563ZIT6 support static address ?Or what should i do with this I3C if i want to receive data from controller. Thanks!

In RM0351 Reference manual Figure 420. USART block diagram, the positions of shift registers and data registers (of both Transmit and Receive) are wrong; their positions should be swapped.

Hello, I know what the problem is but I can't solve it.Hardware: HP Zbook G3 Workstation + HP Thunderbolt 3 dock station like thi one: When I am connected to the station, an error occurs: No ST-link detected! Please connect ST-LINK and restart debug session. Without the docking station it works normally. The problem is the HP docking station and probably something with the ports. Has anyone encountered a similar problem and know how to solve it?

Hi All, I just got NUCLEO-H503RB for I3C. And tried to download the image that I built. (just followed the link's instruction)https://wiki.st.com/stm32mcu/wiki/Getting_started_with_I3C and I just realized it needs ST-link to run and debug my codes. But I thought ST-Link was on board when I checked below linkhttps://www.st.com/en/evaluation-tools/nucleo-h503rb.htmleven i connected board and click debug or run button, it can't find ST-LINK. it said "No ST-LINK detected".Do I have to buy ST-LINK? Or do I miss something?and I'd like to just download what I build first and check the behavior next. is that possible? Otherwise, do I have to buy ST-LINK anyway to debug my code? Thanks,Luke.

Hello,I used two nucleo-H723ZG boards to try the PSSI_Transmit_Receive_DMA example code in the STM32Cube\Repository\STM32Cube_FW_H7_V1.11.1\Projects\NUCLEO-H723ZG\Examples\PSSI directory, the LEDs on both boards do not flash as expected (master board, the LED2 stayed on all the time, and the 3 LEDs on the slave board never turned on).  I followed the instructions in the readme.txt to setup the boards and build the example software.  The only issue that I found in the readme.txt is the identification of PC8 pin wrong, instead as stated "CN12 PIN10", it shall be CN12 PIN3 for the STM32H723 MCU.Any suggestions to get the example code running on the two boards? Thank you in advance. Patrick

I am running USB in Mass Storage host mode. On connecting the device, USB FLASH stick, it takes around 20 seconds to change the Appli_Sate from APPLICATION_START to APPLICATION_READY in usb_host.c file. It is normal ? Can the time be reduced ?   Thanks

Hi,tried to update the ST-Link Firmware on my NUCLEO-F429ZI as requested by STM32CubeIDE. Updating failed and the board is no longer recognized as a USB device. The COM LED (LD4) on the ST-Link section blinks red.Is there a way to resurrect the firmware? I'm running on a Linux VM inside VirtualBox on a Windows 11 host. I've mapped the USB device to the VM. Have been using this board successfully from VS Code for days now...Thanks for any assistance...

I will do a hand gesture recognition system using CMSIS-NN on arm cortex project for one ofmy grad courses. I will use a sample project which is Image Recognition on Arm Cortex M with CMSIS-NN. However, the camera module that is STM32F4DIS-CAM camera module is obsolete. For this reason, I am not sure what to use as a camera module. Couldyou please give me some advice about it?

Hello everyone,I am currently working on a DIY toy project and I need some advice on selecting the appropriate components. My project involves setting up real-time image recognition artificial intelligence, a compatible camera, and controlling servo motors to aim a cannon based on the position of a detected target. After conducting some research, I have decided to use an STM32 board to host the AI and control the servo motors. However, I am a bit overwhelmed by the various options of STM32 boards available in the market, and I am not sure which one to choose for my specific project.Additionally, I am also looking for a camera that is compatible with the chosen STM32 board, capable of providing high-quality images for real-time image recognition.I would therefore like to seek your expertise in guiding me through the selection of the appropriate STM32 board and camera for my needs. If you have any recommendations or advice on specific models to use for this project, I would be extremely g

I noticed the CYCCNT register is accessible from multiple header files. That register is defined as part of the DWT_Type structure. That structure definition is repeated in many header files:core_armv8mbl.h, core_armv8mml.h, core_armv81mml.h, core_cm3.h, core_cm4.h, core_cm7.h, core_cm23.h, core_cm33.h, , core_cm35.h, , core_sc300.hMy actual MCU is the STM32U575xx and I would like to know which one of those header file to include. Also, I am new on this community and I am unsure that I applied the proper label for this question. Please let me know if there is a more appropriate label. Note: I would like to use this register in order to measure time in 100`s of microsecond. I know it could be done using timers. Does it make sense to measure time that way?

Hi,It may be a *** question but, im quite sure i read time ago that on VDD_AM pin the 2u2 cap must not be place at one sccenario, but now im not able to find where i read that info and also i dont remember which was the scenario. I start to think im wrong, and both caps (2u2 and 10n) must be placed always.Could someone confirm it?thanks in advancedignacio

Hello,I've been trying to find a solution on the forums for several hours now, to no avail!I have just put my programs on STM32F401, I compile with MBED Studio. I used to light my WS2812 LEDs with a KL25Z (NXP) always using Mbed Studio and my library worked perfectly! But with the STM32, I couldn't get the LEDs to work, so I did some tests on different pins, with no success.that the signal wasn't square...I concluded that the code was wrong. After several searches I see that you have to activate certain functions to use the WS2812 with STM32 but I don't understand what's missing from my code. Can you please help me?Thank you in advance,SincerelyAntoineHere is the program:WS2812.h#ifndef MBED_WS2812_H #define MBED_WS2812_H #include "mbed.h" class WS2812 { private: void int_to_binary(int value, int* buffer, int bufferSize); DigitalOut Data; int nLed; public: void WriteDataOut(int dataLed[]); WS2812(PinName _data, int _nLed); }; #endifWS2812.cpp#include <mbed.h

Hello,I am using STM32H733 mounted on a custom PCB. The problem is that if I power the board on, the program inside the MCU does not start. The programming is done over the JTAG/SWD interface. After programming, the code is able to start running. However, after power on, I need to push the reset button (reset circuit, nRST) to run the software, otherwise the code does not start. Where can be the problem? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.Best regards,Mert

Hey. Is it possible to execute code from external memory using only single- or dual-SPI mode? I have a PCB here with a STM32H730 CPU, but on the flash memory, WP/SIO2 and RESET/SIO3 are connected, so no Quad-SPI possible. :frowning_face:In these official references concerning XiP I only find Quad-SPI or Dual-Quad(=Octo)-SPI mentioned:- AN5188- AN4760 section 6.2- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YFIvJVsvIsE&list=PLnMKNibPkDnHIrq5BICcFhLsmJFI_ytvE&index=2Thank You!

Hi everyone, I want to read ADC from DMA with injected conversion channels. In HAL library for STM32F407VG, there is no HAL_ADCEx_InjectedStart_DMA. This command gives invalid error. Anyone knows about this. Thanks.
