I am currently developing UART functionality on the SPC58EG chip, and I want to use LinFlexD1 hardware channel to develop UART.However, I cannot find relevant examples in the SPC5 Studio IDE.I am referring to the official manual (RM0391), which mentions that the Peripheral Sensor Interface-Support module (PSI5-S) must be enabled and related registers modified to use LinFlexD as UART.Are there any more specific example codes or projects that can be used as a reference for developing UART?Thank you.

This is a long one, so sit tight around the campfire, and let me tell you the tale of The Futility of EPENA.Several days ago, I began to implement a Mass Storage interface for my own USB stack, equipped with a Bulk IN and OUT endpoint. The first thing I did was wait for the OTEPDIS interrupt ("OUT token received when endpoint disabled"); this lets me know that the host wants to send me a love letter, that is, a Command Block Wrapper. This OTEPDIS interrupt is a little strange, however, as RM0351 (Rev. 10) states that this interrupt only applies to Control OUT endpoints, but nonetheless seems to have effect for non-Control EPs (at least for the STM32L476RG).Anyways, on this interrupt, I then configure the Bulk OUT endpoint to receive a single 8-byte packet in order to get the first 8-bytes of the 31-byte CBW. Of course, I could just have a 64-byte EP so it could be received in-all-one-go, but I wanted to ensure the flexibility of my own USB stack in being able to handle multi-packet tra

Hello, I've designed a PCB with a schematic nearly identical to the STEVAL-WBC86TX. The only modifications are a capacitor and coil size change, which I've also implemented on a development board for direct comparison. On the development board, my receiver PCB performs almost flawlessly, with the only issue being a charging current of around 60mA (which may be unrelated). However, on my new transmitter board, it almost immediately overheats and shuts down. I've attached an image from WPSTUDIO showing the temperature reaching 100°C before shutting down and repeating this cycle. Can anyone suggest potential causes for this issue or point me in the right direction for troubleshooting? Thank you, Mike

Hello,On my project, I use FDCAN1 and FDCAN2. FDCAN1 is working perfectly fine.On FDCAN2, I can transmit data successfully (with the CAN ID 0xBEEF), but when I want do receive data, the Rx callback is never called, nor the IRQ handler (the CAN ID filter is set to 0xDEAD).CAN ID is configured as extended ID mode.Here's my FDCAN2 init function:static void MX_FDCAN2_Init(void) { /* USER CODE BEGIN FDCAN2_Init 0 */ /* USER CODE END FDCAN2_Init 0 */ /* USER CODE BEGIN FDCAN2_Init 1 */ /* USER CODE END FDCAN2_Init 1 */ hfdcan2.Instance = FDCAN2; hfdcan2.Init.FrameFormat = FDCAN_FRAME_CLASSIC; hfdcan2.Init.Mode = FDCAN_MODE_NORMAL; hfdcan2.Init.AutoRetransmission = ENABLE; hfdcan2.Init.TransmitPause = ENABLE; hfdcan2.Init.ProtocolException = ENABLE; hfdcan2.Init.NominalPrescaler = 32; hfdcan2.Init.NominalSyncJumpWidth = 2; hfdcan2.Init.NominalTimeSeg1 = 2; hfdcan2.Init.NominalTimeSeg2 = 2; hfdcan2.Init.DataPrescaler = 1; hfdcan2.Init.DataSyncJumpWidth = 12; hfdcan2.Init.D

Dear Team, When I am starting a new project in cube MX with STM32H7R7L8H6, there are options of I2C1 and I3C1. but I am not able to select and make it work. drop-down menu is not enabled!I am using V 6.12.0 Does anyone have any explanation for this? RegardsUmang

Hello, I'm trying to set up the deep sleep mode for VL53L8CX using NUCLEO L476RG board so as described in the datasheet that it can operates in 3 different states:• Wake-up: The device is set in HP idle (high power), waiting for instructions.• Sleep: The device is set in LP idle (low power), the low power state. The device cannot be used until set inwake-up mode. This mode retains the firmware and the configuration.• Deep sleep: The device is set in ultra-low power. In this mode, the sensor consumes a few microamps ofcurrent. However, the firmware, configuration, and calibration data are completely lost. The user needs toset the device in wake-up mode and reconfigure the sensor to start streaming.   But the only result i'm getting using api functions are wake-up and sleep mode but not the deep sleep one Can you please help me to get it working

I am a beginner in this field. Can anyone help me?I am testing Adafruit VL53L4CD and Arduino Nano with Atmel ATmega328P 16 MHz processor.Only 10 cm. wire is connecting the Adafruit board and the Nano board.I have an issue with status code using ST VL53L4CD_Sat_HelloWorld.ino sketch.inoWhen distance is below approx. 500 mm. Status = 0 (OK).When distance is below approx. 1.400 mm. Status = 2 (Wire: Received NACK on transmit of address?)When distance is above approx. 1.400 mm. Status = 4 (Wire: Other error?)Some times also status = 7?The status may originate from Wire.endTransmission()I have analyzed the I2C protocol using PicoScope. I can't figure out what's wrong. Se oploaded image.I would expect nice square shapes for SDA and SDC. But that is not the case?Regards Joergen

Hi everyone. I hope you are well.I am researching how to write LD file. I listened external flash pins. I used an "External Flash Loader file" to program the external Flash IC and MCU. I used STLDR file that work. I will write stages step by step; 0x06 : Write Enable 0x05 : Read status, -> Response: 0x02 0xD8 : Block Erase 0x05 : Read status, -> Response: 0x03 ...//Repeat 0x05 command 0x05 : Read status, -> Response: 0x00 // Block erased. ... 0x06 : Write Enable 0x05 : Read status, -> Response: 0x02 0x02 : Page Program 0x05 : Read status, -> Response: 0x03 ...//Repeat 0x05 command 0x05 : Read status, -> Response: 0x00 // Page programmed. ... I created a my custom STLDR file. Programmer(Stm32Cube) is "known" my STLDR file. But My MCU and Flash IC can not be programmed. I take error. And I listened again. My STLDR file use different procedure to program. Is not like above. 0x66 : Reset 0 0x99 : Reset 1 0x06 : Write Enable 0x20 : Sector Erase 0x05 :

Hello everyone,I have been working on a custom bootloader for the STM32H735 microcontroller and I am encountering an issue when attempting to jump to my main application stored in external flash memory. Here's a brief overview of what I've done so far:Developed a Demo Bootloader: I started by creating a demo bootloader based on the ExtMem_Boot example. This bootloader successfully jumps to applications stored in external flash memory. Both a simple application (printing RTC values, just for TESTING) and a more complex application with multiple functionalities work perfectly when jumped to from this demo bootloader.Developed a More Complex Bootloader: I then developed a more complex bootloader that includes functionalities like CRC calculation, erasing sectors, and loading a new image from an SD card. This bootloader also successfully jumps to the simple RTC application without any problems.Encountered Issues with Main Application: However, when I attempt to jump to my main application

Hi,  I am facing some error in my STM 32 cube Ide  . So , kindly explain why this error is happened? And give a solution also.   controller part number : STM32F103    IDE : Cube IDE  Thanks.

hello ! OV2640 is used as the camera module and I want to use GPDMA when I send DCMI data. If MX sets up like this and generates codeThere's an error like this (handle_GPDMA1_Channel12' undeclared (first use in this function); did you mean 'handle_GPDMA1_Channel0'?) So please let me know how to use GPDMA in DCMI or OV2640, in STM32U5AZJ.

Hello, I wanted to share an issue I found with enabling the oversampler for ADC using HAL. I was having issues result not being bit shifted. Further investigation I found that the HAL driver version 1.11 did not write the OVSS bits correctly. Here is the original code found in the stm32h7xx_hal_adc.c lines 760-765MODIFY_REG(hadc->Instance->CFGR2, ADC_CFGR2_FIELDS, ADC_CFGR2_ROVSE | ((hadc->Init.Oversampling.Ratio - 1UL) << ADC_CFGR2_OVSR_Pos) | hadc->Init.Oversampling.RightBitShift | hadc->Init.Oversampling.TriggeredMode | hadc->Init.Oversampling.OversamplingStopReset); I modified the code to thisMODIFY_REG(hadc->Instance->CFGR2, ADC_CFGR2_FIELDS, ADC_CFGR2_ROVSE | ((hadc->Init.Oversampling.Ratio - 1UL) << ADC_CFGR2_OVSR_Pos) | hadc->Init.Oversampling.RightBitShift << ADC_CFGR2_OVSS_Pos | hadc->Init.Oversampling.TriggeredMode << ADC_CFGR2_TROVS_Pos | hadc->Init.Oversampling.OversamplingStopReset) With this modificat

Hello,I am trying to send the message from my USB-CAN Analyzer to my board STM32F407 discovery board, but I am unable to do that.  HAL_CAN_GetRxMessage(&hcan1, CAN_RX_FIFO0, &rx_header, rx_data); // Process received message handleReceivedMessage(&rx_header, rx_data); This is my function to read message.  void handleReceivedMessage(CAN_RxHeaderTypeDef *rx_header, uint8_t *rx_data) { // Your custom handling of received message // Example: LED blinking based on received data HAL_GPIO_TogglePin(GPIOB, GPIO_PIN_12); // Toggle LED } This is my handlereceivedMessage function. Below is my message which I am sending from USB-CAN Analyzer. Best RegardsRohit Kumar

Hello, I am using your STM32F103RET7 series. We need the functionality of RDP Level 2.Once you write, you have to implement something that can't enter and erase. Is that function possible on this chip?First of all, we are also reviewing STM32F205RGT7 chips.Since the development has been completed with STM32F103RET7, it is best that this function can be implemented.

Hi,I am new to stm products and am using the STM32F4 discovery. When I run ST-LinkUpgrade I am unable to click upgrade, although I can click "opening in upgrade mode". When I do this the board just disconnects. I have used the jar file for the upgrade software as well as the programmer, although the result is the same in both cases. I saw a similar support message from 3 years ago but it has not been answered. I have used the jar file for the upgrade software as well as the programmer, although the result is the same in both cases. Thanks

I have a problem with code that uses the STM32WB5MMG.Everything was working on the device, the BLE was appearing perfectly, and I programmed everything that needed to be executed.I set up a GATT server with its services and characteristics, everything was working. And then the problem arose: When I assembled a new PCB, the BLE didn't start. I installed the Wireless Stack (stm32wb5x_BLE_Stack_full_fw.bin and stm32wb5x_FUS_fw.bin), and nothing worked. I took the PCB that was working and read the data recorded on it to check if there was any version problem, and to my surprise, everything stopped working after this reading. The BLE no longer runs on the board that was working.Maybe there is some initialization missing in the code that I can't identify. I tried the APP_BLE_Init() function, but it causes the application to get stuck in a loop.Does anyone know what might be happening and what I might be forgetting to trigger to get the wireless stack running again?

Hello:          Looking for a BSDL file for a STM32MP135FAF7.                      Les

Hi, I use ToF sensor with multisensorRanging code from stm.I wanted to check data faster (like twice per 1 second...), But when I set RANGING_FREQUENCY as 4U, I can't get all of the data. There is some loss of data when I set a bigger frequency.I wonder what are TIMING_BUDGET, RANGING_FREQUENCY and POLLING_PERIOD.

I am trying to send a message through UART based on Timer 6 interrupt on STM32L432KC microprocessor. The prescaler is set to 39999 and the auto reload is set to 19999 to get an interrupt every 10 seconds. When i upload the code, I get the first interrupt 10 seconds in but it never triggers again. I changed timers to see if Timer 6 was clashing with something that I am already using.I have found that when the Timer 6 counter hits ARR for the first time and interrupt triggers, The TIM6->SR stays 0 but when counter hits ARR for the second time, TIM6->SR turns 1 and interrupt does not trigger which the reference manual says its the flag UIF (Update Interrupt Pending). I was thinking maybe its a hardware issue so tried changing the timers but same story. In the same code I am also doing ADC DMA conversions using Timer 1 interrupt which is set to trigger at 100Hz. That works without issues. The callback function is the same for all Timer interrupts so I am not sure if that has an effec

HelloI am new to the CUBEIDE Universe and I guess this question has been asked a 1000 times but I can´t find an answer. I created a new project with cubeMX ( just a few GPIO outputs with LEDs) and build the C File. Then I wrote some defines and arrays. When I now edit the.ioc file because I want to change something, all my defines etc. are gone. Only my Code after while(1) stays. Is this a BUG oder did I something wrong. I wrote my #define right after the #include main.h.

Hi, Can anyone help please to identify what is this chip that hold the ST logo ? Here is the picture shows the chip. i searched a lot even on the digikey  but i couldn't find anything.thanks

Hi!In stm32cubeIde, when I press code generation, automatically after the main.c file is opened. I would like to know how deactivate this option if it is possible.I have many main.c files in other projects folders that are excluded from compilation but all are opened after code generation and it is a bit annoying Thanks!!
