Hello.I am using STM32C031.I have set up two projects to be one .bin file based on the attached document. This time I want to output a .bin file for the boot program (addresses: 0x08000000~0x08003FFF) and the application program (addresses: 0x08004000~0x0800FFFFF), but I cannot. As soon as the boot program is finished, the application program data is included without waiting for 0x08004000. (The boot program ends at 0x080027F0 and the application program starts at 0x080027F4).What settings should I add to make it write correctly?Best Regards,

1. Hello ST, I am using STM32U535 microcontroller for my project which has external peripherals connected via I2C, SPI and UART buses. The thing is whenever I am independently using single protocol they are working fine as soon as I integrate two or three peripherals after testing independently, this error is repeating at different locations.Error: Data mismatch found at address 0x08010004 (byte = 0x00 instead of 0xD0)Error: Download verification failed2. Also after this error when I disable the initalized peripherals in project.ioc file the code is not getting reflecting in the main.c file. The peripherals are initialised in the last state. For example, I required a UART based DMA before in project, now I don't need it so disabled it but related to it the code has not been generated.  Can you share some information regarding these errors... Thank you in advance

I am using stm32f407zg board with DP83848 ethernet PHY chip. CubeMX generates code with LWIP for FreeRTOS. App used to answer ping successfully when it starts with connected eth cable only and stops after its reconnecting. After some investigation i have noticed some suspicious place in code(see below). After adding "_IT" postfix it started to work, so looks like cube used wrong handler to stop/start ETH periphery(see lines 7 and 30). So my question is: is it a CubeMX bug or i just missed some delails? Here is a cycle from ethernet_link_thread entry in ethernetif.c file:for(;;) { PHYLinkState = DP83848_GetLinkState(&DP83848);   if(netif_is_link_up(netif) && (PHYLinkState <= DP83848_STATUS_LINK_DOWN)) { HAL_ETH_Stop_IT(&heth); //Here we stop ETH netif_set_down(netif); netif_set_link_down(netif); } else if(!netif_is_link_up(netif) && (PHYLinkState > DP83848_STATUS_LINK_DOWN)) { switch (PHYLinkState) { case DP83848_STATUS_100MBITS_FULLDUPLEX

Hi , is it possible to get the RX sensitivity of the STM32WLE5JCI6 in other LORA conditions then mentioned in the Datasheet ? our LORA parameters are:PER=1%BW= 20.8Khz to 125KhzSF= 7  to 11split RF paths for RX and TX using RF SWITCH Thank you,Viola

Is it possible to input 7S into a B-G431B-ESC1 EVM with a voltage specification that says up to 6S?If not, if I replace some parts with a high rated voltage as below, can I input 7S into EVM? 1. Power Section, TVS diode, SMM4F26A (D20) -> SMM4F33A 2. Power Section, Capacitor, 15uF 35V (C27 to C40) -> (I will keep this.) 3. Bemf Detection & Sensor Input, Schottky diode, BAT30KFILM (D10~D15, D17~D19) -> BAT48   Thank you!

Hi,i have a micros() function, that i adapted from arduino library. It worked flawlessly so far, but i have made a discovery, that micros() did not work properly at one time. micros() returned a time, that had 772us less, than it should have returned. Seems to be a very very rare case, but i want it to be perfect, and dont have any problems at all in the future. I cant see, where there should be a problem. These are the definitions /* * 170 Mhz sysclock * APB2 1/4 * x2 * Timer prescaler 1 * => 771us interval (must be beow 1ms!) */ #define TICS_PER_TIMER_OVERFLOW 0xFFFF // DO NOT CHANGE. Update is only generated on overflow. Capture 1 dont seem to be usable! #define MICROS_PER_TIMER_OVERFLOW 771 // the fractional number of milliseconds per timer overflow. #define FRACT_INC (MICROS_PER_TIMER_OVERFLOW % 1000) #define FRACT_MAX (1000)  Timer setup: void TK_init_TimeAndDelay(){ __HAL_RCC_TIM16_CLK_ENABLE(); TIM16->PSC = TIM16_PRESC - 1; // true prescale

Hi,I configured the STM32U5G9VJT6Q but it looks like that, because I am using the SDMMC2 then the SWO pin is not available. Are there any practical workaround? One obvious one is to disable SDMMC while using SWO. Any other ones?Thank you

Question about the SPI communication clockIs it possible to output the SPI clock all the time, not just when reading and writing data?

Posted on September 13, 2017 at 14:49When enabling the FreeRTOS idle hook STM32CubeMX generates a function with the following prototype in the freertos.c file:__weak void vApplicationIdleHook( void )However __weak isn't defined in any one of the included header files (I'm using GCC with Makefile target) so the file can't be compiled until defining the __weak as __attribute__((weak)) somewhere.#idle-hook #freertos

I got STM's libraries, grabbed the X-CUBE-DSPDEMO & AN4841 & AN4891 (section 3 on FFT demonstration) but haven't seen any documentation on the DSP library API. Have all the examples which are great, but still a good documentation for reference would be great. The AN4891 in section 3 mentions a demo project that runs on MDK-ARM, kind of an FFT performance demonstration. Is that source available somewhere on STM's website or github repo? Thanks

I'm buildning my own computer by using STM32MP151AAC3.I'm going to draw lines for the HDMI connector. I have one question: Can I transfer sound via the HDMI cable? For example if I run OpenSTLinux onto the STM32MP151AAC3 processor, and then I connect the HDMI cable and I can see the screen. Will I be able to hear sound too if I surf into Youtube?

Hello,After updating STM32CubeIDE to version 1.16, starting a debugging session doesn't load program into the STM32L5 target and jumps directly to the reset Handler.I tried programming the bin file using STM32CubeProgrammer and it works well.However, erasing the FLASH using STM32CubeProgrammer and launching a debug session then reading back the FLASH using STM32CubeProgrammer shows that it's empty.Im trying to load the program to the address 0x08020000, here is the memories definition. /* Memories definition */MEMORY{RAM (xrw) : ORIGIN = 0x20000000, LENGTH = 192KSRAM2 (xrw) : ORIGIN = 0x20030000, LENGTH = 64KBOOTLOADER (rx) : ORIGIN = 0x08000000, LENGTH = 128KFLASH (rx) : ORIGIN = 0x08020000, LENGTH = 352K}

Hi,I just tried selecting the STM32U5G9VJT6Q in CubeIDE and the "Next" button to start a project based on it is not enabled and there is a note at the top of the window saying it is not supported (see attached screenshot)?I assume that is incorrect and I perhaps need to download some additional data somehow (I didn't for other micros though)?Thank you

Hi, I am using a STM32U5G9VJT6Q and need the Altium symbol. Because it is a relatively large IC I would rather copy-paste the names and pin numbers pairs to avoid any errors (not out of laziness), but: - if I copy and paste the pin names (or any other data) from the PDF datasheet, when I paste them they all paste as a the same character: a question mark inside a square box - I tried downloading it from the STM32 page but most of the time it does not generate the symbol (I tried multiple browsers and multiple computer but it just does not download them). When it finally downloaded, it actually generates a script and the script generates the wrong pinout. For example pins 6 and 12 (for the LQFP-100 with DSI) should beVDD11DSI but the generated symbol sets them as OSCI and VBAT... And the same for other pins... (As a side note... What is the point of having such symbol generating tool if it generates a completely wrong symbol...?) Are there any other places/resources where I can cut and

When I'm trying to read Unique device ID register on Nucleo-H563ZI, either by using HAL_GetUIDw0() or by doing uint32_t uid1 = *((uint32_t*)0x08FFF800); hard fault occurs.

I am using STM32H743VI LQFP 100 pin. There is no PC2 and no PC3 so I need to use PC2_C and PC3_C as SPI MISO and MOSI respectively. I heave read many forums on here claiming there was a bug in the silicon making PC3_C not suitable for SPI communication. I am wondering if this is still true or if I will be able to properly use PC2_C and PC3_C as SPI pins.To my understanding while reading the reference manual and data sheet there should not be a problem and the switches between pads is closed by default. This leads me to believe that I can use PCx_C as PCx SPI without any extra modification. Please let me know if this is true.   Thank you,Ethan Mankins

Hello, everyone! I'm learning to deploy my target detection model using cubeai. My model is trained using pytorch and I found that cubeai doesn't support .pth file conversion so I'm trying to convert my model to onnx format. Since the size of my model did not match the requirements of the development board, I performed a quantization operation. Noting that cubeai officially recommends quantization in onnx format, I did so. However, when I analyze the model with cubeai, the following error occurs (the model before quantization can be analyzed normally). Can anyone help me to see what's going on?

Hi all,I'm writing a USB composite device support (baremetal) for MP135: it must support a custom interface and a CDC profile. Now I'm testing the CDC side connecting the USB cable with a PC: Windows mounts correctly a virtual serial port and I open a Putty serial session. The board handles the USB data as input for a simple terminal. This is what happen inserting a breakpoint on HAL_PCD_IRQHandler function (Drivers/STM32MP13xx_HAL_Driver/src/stm32mp13xx_hal_pcd.c):- initially (after the port setup) nothing breaks- on the first keypress on the Putty terminal the breakpoint breaks twice: the first with USB_OTG_GRXSTSP_PKTSTS = 2 (packet received) so read by USB_ReadPacket() - the second one with PKTSTS = 3 (transfer complete) so do nothing.- the data read fires my callback that handles the received key generating an echo back to the terminal- the interrupt is no more fired- on the second key press the interrupt is fired but it does not contain the RXFLVL bit (USB_OTG_GINTSTS = 0x44888428)

Hi,I am looking for a STM32 micro that can control this DSI display (datasheet attached). But the display has 4-lanes DSI interface and cannot seem to find any STM32 with 4-lanes DSI. The microcontroller selector tool only has "MIPI-DSI" option without lane specification and all the micros I looked at so far seem to have only 2-lanes.Are there any 4-lanes micros? If not, how can I control such display? Are there some bridges ICs (I could not find any)?Thank you :)

Hello,I am trying to use WB55 as a Zigbee device on HomeAssistant. I have made some progress so far, and I can use it as an OnOff switch on HomeAssistant and report my switch status in real-time to HomeAssistant. At first, I added WB55 to HomeAssistant and it worked very well. I modified the client to server based on the demo, so it changes the OnOff state every second, and I can see its status changes in real time on HomeAssistant. But if I restart the device, I won't see any status changes again when WB55 is reconnected to HomeAssistant. I didn't do anything in HomeAssistant, reconnecting looks completely automatic.I provided the source code I modified and its logs. I hope to receive an answer.Thank youWeng

Our board has an STM32L031 as a SPI master with two AD5271 Digital Pots (R24 and R25) as SPI slaves.  After power-on both digital pots can be read (return default of 511).  The first digital pot accessed can be given a new value and that new value read back.  The other pot now reads all zeros.  A different value can be written to the first digital pot and read back (so the SPI bus didn't get 'stuck' after the write routine finished).  Once the second digital pot is given a new value, neither digital pot can be read back (returns all zeros).  It doesn't matter if R24 is accessed first or if R25 is accessed first; the first pot accessed can be read-modified-written.  A UART port provides debug output: Accessing R24 first:--------------------Configuring digital pots...R24 config is set to 511R25 config is set to 511R24 config is set to 156R25 config is set to 0R24 config is set to 188dpotSetRDAC(R25) failed, tried to set to 68, is set to 0R25 config

Hello,in the STM32F7 it is possible to enable instruction prefetch and in the same time disable ICache. Then I suppose that the prefetching does not put the prefetched instruction in cache. Is it correct?Thank you

Hello, I am trying to install the SDK to work on the STM32MPU257F-EV1 Development board and I followed the instructions for the x86_64 Architecture, however when I use the command echo $ARCH it says the architecture is arm64? Is that what should be displaying? I feel like it should be x86_64 right? Thanks! Carson

Hi People, for the since start of year i've been setting up boards with Texas C2000 , and for the past 6 months infineon tri-core processors.  I may be changing jobs and it involves STM32 so i'm getting a head start. I have a STM32373C-EVAL , as i need TFT display and CAN. i have attempted to make a 'blinky ' project. Compiles fine but when it runs it hangs on the oscilator start up . Fresh install of STM32CubeIDE so used the config tool and let it do all the defaults.. The dev kit has solder bridges for crystal - they are open , but i've let it use the PLL.  it wont let me  When running in debug it 'hangs' on stopping the code , its in the error handler from the system clock settings , if i comment out the error handler it runs .    void SystemClock_Config(void) { RCC_OscInitTypeDef RCC_OscInitStruct = {0}; RCC_ClkInitTypeDef RCC_ClkInitStruct = {0}; /** Initializes the RCC Oscillators according to the specified parameters * in the RCC_OscInitTypeDe
