Hi,I'm using stm32f072rbt6 mcu for my project. And I want to write data to my usb flash drive as a txt file.I have researched some tutorials but to do this usually used mcu's such as stm32f767zit6 and these mcu's have USB_OTG_FS feature which my mcu doesn't have.Is there any example or tutorial to do this with my stm32f072rbt6 mcu? or can I do that with my mcu?Thank you!

Hi all. I'm having trouble with the following function. My TouchGFX guihas two radio button groups, each with three radio buttons. The first selects between three different wire gauges, awg42, awg43 and awg44.The second set selects between the resistance values of each of the wire gauges. For each wire gauge, I have three resistance values, min, nom and max toaccount for variance in the actual wire resistance in a real-world situation.Obviously, resistance is based on a variety of external factors.I have a single TextArea on the screen to which I want to print the decimalvalue of the selected resistance. So for example, I want to select a wire gauge of awg42 with a nominal resistance valueor, select a wire gauge of awg43 with a minimal resistance value and have the screenupdate with the result. So far, this is not happening. The TextArea is updated with the format specifier, notthe resistance value. I have tried snprintf alternatives but without success.I'm using a typedef struct to hold a

Posted on April 15, 2017 at 13:11This bug has been reported before, but has survived a couple of cube version bumps.STM32CubeMX 4.20.1 and f7_cube 1.6.1in stm32f7xx_hal_conf.h it defines the PHY address incorrectly#define LAN8742A_PHY_ADDRESS           1should be#define LAN8742A_PHY_ADDRESS           0A symptom of this bug is HAL_ETH_ReadPHYRegister returning 0xFFFF for literally everything, and your cube-generated ethernet code won't work.

Hello to everyonesIn a project where I used the STM32G0B1RTC6 MCU I have the following problem:The PA2 pin used as uart2 TX sometimes goes low at power on and stays there forevereven if I try to reset the CPU again. If it is configured regularly then it works as it should. After several tests I noticed that this happens only in some cases where for a reason that I won't explain, the supply voltage has a rise of the type indicated in the picture i attach. The strange thing is that the rest of the mcu works, the program runs regularly and the uart2 -rx receives data even though the uart2-tx is stuck low.Not even a reset can solve the situation, it is necessary to turn off and restart to solve the problem.I am interested in understanding the nature of the problem. I have solved the problem for the moment by moving the Uart2-tx functionality to pin PD5 but in this way I lose the possibility of booting the MCU through uart2 (PA2/PA3).I thank anyone who can help me

Originally a reply here (solved), but split to a separate thread as it is a new question.Hello,Is there any  way to disable the code which is auto generated by the Touch GFX  designer which is not used by the application. so I can reduce the space of the code Thanks

Hi there!I still work on my project for read Ibutton. In the main i check every 500ms if there is any key(unfortunally i can’t use interrupt) . Now i want use a W2812B for report some error. Soo my question is how I can implement one function work in back ground for example turn on and off led every second without give a error with function check the presence of the key ? I saw freerots but i think is too much for this project. Because my worry is how mange the timer dosen’t stay in the error function and stop to check the keyThank you so muchSergio

I use STM32U083RCT6 on (my own) simple development board powered by 3.3V (VDD=VDDA=3.3V). I am using small LCD display glass with 4x8 segments. Initialisation code - the first problemFist problem is that STM32CubeIDE does generates wrong/incomplete initialisation code: /* Initialize all configured peripherals */ MX_GPIO_Init(); MX_LCD_Init(); // Never returns (LCD CLK is not enabled yet) MX_RTC_Init(); The MX_LCD_Init() failes internally with HAL_TIMOUT beceause LCD controller does not have enabled clocks (clock signal is the same as for RTC). If you have running RTC the initialisation of LCD will succeds. You must have something like this: /* Initialize all configured peripherals */ MX_GPIO_Init(); MX_RTC_Init(); MX_LCD_Init();  Step Up Voltage Generator - generates almost 5V!If you configure LCD controller's internal step-up voltage generator without buffer (LCD_CR.BUFEN=0) the voltage generator generates on PC3=VLCD unexpected high voltage, typicaly 4.9V

Hello everyone,I want to try to wakeup my system from the the STOP2 mode with a button press. The button is also in use in the rest of the application and works just fine. But when going to STOP2 it does not wake up the system again.I've tried it with the preconfigured interrupt, which also handles the button presses while the system is active, as well as a change to an event based trigger setup right before going to STOP2. Both do not wake up the system. void setEXTIEvent(void) { LL_EXTI_InitTypeDef EXTI_InitStruct = {0}; EXTI_InitStruct.LineCommand = ENABLE; EXTI_InitStruct.Line_0_31 = LL_EXTI_LINE_6; EXTI_InitStruct.Mode = LL_EXTI_MODE_EVENT; EXTI_InitStruct.Trigger = LL_EXTI_TRIGGER_FALLING; LL_EXTI_Init(&EXTI_InitStruct); HAL_NVIC_DisableIRQ(EXTI9_5_IRQn); } void setEXTIInt(void) { LL_EXTI_InitTypeDef EXTI_InitStruct = {0}; EXTI_InitStruct.LineCommand = ENABLE; EXTI_InitStruct.Line_0_31 = LL_EXTI_LINE_6; EXTI_InitStruct.Mode = LL_EXTI_MODE_IT; EXTI_InitStru

Hi there,In my STM32F429BI TouchGFX project, I using some images.I want to show a image in areaA, and then rotate the image 90dgr and show it in areaB.But seems I must store the 2 images(before and after the rotation) in RAM to show both of them. Can I just store one image, and rotate the image by some setting to save the memory? Thanks for your help!

Hi I am trying to communicate CAN. I am using two boards Nucleo-G474RE and Nucleo-H755ZI-Q and two MCP2551 as transceiver. On either side, program works for External loop back configuration. ( I did step by step debug to ensure the transmitting data is getting received or not). But I am not getting the interrupt when in normal mode. I also tried using a single board with shorting tx and rx of the transceiver and also using two boards. What might be the issue?I have only attached the IOC file and main.c file for Nucleo-H755ZI-Q and it is similar for Nucleo-G474RE also.

Hello, I'm trying to communicate with a STM32G070CBT6 bootloader, with mixed success. I've forced the chip into bootloader mode by writing a 0xDBFFE1AA to the FLASH option register (by default it was DFFFE1AA). I've verified that this value "stuck", and that the chip is booting up into bootloader mode.Using AN4221 as a guide, and using the I2C interface, I am able to sucessfully execute the "get version" command, which returns 0x12 (bootload version 1.2). However, all longer commands are failing. Here is a capture and protocol decode (with my annotations) of the "GET" command (command 0), The first 2 bytes of response is corect, however everything following that is 0x1F Here's a zoom-on of the first 0x1F response:

Hello Everybody,MCSDK:6.3.0CubeMX: 6.3.0Workbench : 6.3.0Motor Pilot : 1.2.9I used open-loop voltage on the motor pilot to perform tuning with (voltage_ref, TargetSpd) at the following settings: (10%, 300), (20%, 600), and (30%, 900), each with a duration of 2000, to check the motor's operating condition. However, when I used the API for tuning, only (10%, 300) operated normally. When I updated voltage_ref to 20% and set the Speed to 600, the motor struggled to rotate (it was jittering). My question is: during the rotation process, do I need to stop the motor before calling OL_UpdateVoltage and MCI_ExecSpeedRamp? or I should use others api to change the voltage_ref and the speed?

Hello guys,I found the datasheet on ST web was released in 2011.https://www.st.com/resource/en/user_manual/um0817-stm8sdiscovery-stmicroelectronics.pdfIn this old document, it state the hardware requirements as below:- USB cable type A to B- Computer with Windows 2000, XP or Vista OSHowever, we are using Windows 10 or later now.Does anybody will share the related statement or document about the required OS version? Many thanks!Robert

Does the M95M04-A145 chip support data erasure at 145℃?

Hello,I have two NUCLEO-STM32H7S3L8 boards and would like to use them to test things for one of my projects. Unfortunately, the documentation is somewhat sparse, and only the absolute necessary is explained. I started with the XIP template to keep things simple, but I'm not able to get it to run on the boards. If I start to debug the "Appli" I get this error:I followed the description in AN6101  for the debugger setup, but it doesn't work.Is there any description of what needs to be downloaded to the MCU and in which order? Also, I got little warning signs on my icons for the "Boot" project and the "ExtMemLoader" project, and nobody can explain what that means. Can anyone please explain how to get started with the NUCLEO-STM32H7S3L8 board?

Hey there,I'm trying to boot my custom stm32mp153c board using the new Scarthgap version of the meta-st-stm32mp layer. I had it working with the previous combination of optee 3.19 / kernel 6.1 (See this post). Ater some adaptation of device trees and my layer I've got OPTEE booting and loading the kernel, but unfortunately it stops right at the kernel loading. I am using the VL53L8CX sensor to measure distances, and I am getting correct values. After some time, the data starts to be sometimes incorrect, while slowly increasing the ratio of incorrect vs correct, until eventually all of the readings are incorrect.I've noticed that the time it takes for the data to start being incorrect is linearly related to the ranging frequency. The resolution I am using is 4x4.When using ranging frequency = 5, it takes 4 minutes for the first incorrect data. When using ranging frequency = 10, it takes 2 minutes for the first incorrect data. When using ranging frequency = 20, it takes 1 minute for the first incorrect data. When using ranging frequency = 60, it takes 20 seconds for the first incorrect data. Regarding the "correctness" of the data - the sensor is roughly 200 mm from the surface, and the readings I get at the beginning are as follows:Zone 0: ambient/spad = 2 | nb_spads_enable = 5632 | signal/spad = 1394 | distance_mm = 210 | range_s

Hi, I am using the P-NUCLEO-IHM03 STM32 motor-control pack along with a AMS AS5147U rotary sensor for speed control with Hall-effect. The rotary sensor needs to be calibrated by setting a zero angle aligment. This is done by disconnecting the motor from the motor driver board, and connecting UVW to an external power supply. We then apply a current to the motor, resulting in locking the rotor in a fixed position and reading the angle from the rotary sensor. This angle is now treated as zero. Does anybody know how to use the MC SDK to force a UVW pattern so that we do not rely on an external power supply to lock the rotor? ThanksRoar

SPI with NSSNSS Signal Type Output Software is missing in the pulldown.What did I wrong?I attached the ios file.Of course I can edit the source and never let STM32CubeMX touch the project again, but that wasn't the goal, right?   hspi1.Init.NSS = SPI_NSS_HARD_OUTPUT;hspi1.Init.NSS = SPI_NSS_SOFT;

Hi all,               I am trying to establish a CAN communication between stm32f469i and PC.  I have used Cube MX to generate CAN driver.  I am not getting any data from the stm32f469i. I have also attached code for the reference.

I have STM32G030C8Tx C project that I am trying communicate with BigTreeTech TMC2209 module with the UART half duplex interface. I have attempt to write the code from scratch, kicked that around for a few weeks, gave up and tried to port over some ardiuno projects. I have finally a working project on github, https://github.com/veysiadn/tmc_2209. Still haven't had any luck. I have two drivers boards that I am working with. One I have soldered the bridge pads on the bottom, the other has no modifications. Drivers have tested on BTT SKR 1.4 turbo board with marlin configured to use UART, both worked.   Both boards have the pot adjusted to give the boards enough current at 12 volts.   Both power supplies are running for testing the firmware.I thinking it may be a wiring issue, maybe? The code...USART initialization  static void MX_USART2_UART_Init(void) { huart2.Instance = USART2; huart2.Init.BaudRate = 115200; huart2.Init.WordLength = UART_WORDLENGTH
