Hi!!I am using ThreadX to develop a project.As far as I know, when using FreeRTOS, it is highly recommended to switch from SysTick to another timer.Is it the same for ThreadX?Therefore, I am using TIM7, which is a simple timer. I was wondering where I can find the TIM7 base function that is called every tick. I want to include a function there, but I cannot find it. Thanks!

We are planning to use STM32H753X in one of our design. For JTAG interface I can see two options 5 pin and 4 pin JTAG. Is STM32H753 supports 4 pin JTAG? If yes, how to manage NJTRST pin? Shall i connected NJTRST pin to NJRST?  what is the use of 5 pin JTAG over 4 pin JTAG?

Hi allWe are using STM32WB55 for BLE application. By default, the TX power is added to AD data structure. Got to know that we can use this below API to remove the field from advertisement. ret = aci_gap_delete_ad_type(AD_TYPE_TX_POWER_LEVEL);Is there a way to completely remove the TX power from AD structure? So, every time I start the advertisement, I don't need to explicitly remove the TX power parameter.

Hi,The part# M95M04-DWDW3TP/V Marking is SM4W3, is it correct? because i unable find the marking info from datasheet for this part, please see the photos of product below, thanks.

Hi, I tried to read signal from ultrasonic parking unit by capturing PWM input. Signal has one start pulse 530 Hz width (1.87 ms) and a sequence with 0 and 1 (9.942 kHz and 4,97 kHz) period between pulses sequences is about 193 ms. I use STM32F103 blue pill board with external 8Mhz quartz oscillator. My clock config:   void SystemClock_Config(void) { RCC_OscInitTypeDef RCC_OscInitStruct = {0}; RCC_ClkInitTypeDef RCC_ClkInitStruct = {0}; /** Initializes the RCC Oscillators according to the specified parameters * in the RCC_OscInitTypeDef structure. */ RCC_OscInitStruct.OscillatorType = RCC_OSCILLATORTYPE_HSE; RCC_OscInitStruct.HSEState = RCC_HSE_ON; RCC_OscInitStruct.HSEPredivValue = RCC_HSE_PREDIV_DIV1; RCC_OscInitStruct.HSIState = RCC_HSI_ON; RCC_OscInitStruct.PLL.PLLState = RCC_PLL_ON; RCC_OscInitStruct.PLL.PLLSource = RCC_PLLSOURCE_HSE; RCC_OscInitStruct.PLL.PLLMUL = RCC_PLL_MUL9; if (HAL_RCC_OscConfig(&RCC_OscInitStruct) != HAL_OK) { Error_Handler(); }

 I am using the STM32HUB50xBT6 development kit with TouchGFX. When enabling USB as Full-Speed (FS) and programming it with `USBH_PROCESS_STACK_SIZE` set to 4096, I face an issue where the allocation of `MSC_Handle` fails in the lower layers of the `usbh_msc` file. The debugging print message shows "cannot allocate memory for MSC handle," and this occurs within the `USBH_MSC_InterfaceInit()` function.Can anyone help me in thisThanking you in advance.

Hi everyone,I'm working on a product that involves multiple sensors connected to a main system. Up to six sensors can be attached (see image). The overall diameter of the system (as shown in the image) is approximately 20cm. I want to use NFC tags on each sensor to identify the type of sensor (including ID and other details) when plugged into the system.The sensors are eventually connected to another system via cables. The sensors only output current (and are supplied with voltage) – so, two wires ( + - ). The identification of the sensors (reading the NFC tags) will then be transmitted from my system to the main system.I've come up with two antenna concepts (see image) for this purpose:A single large antenna for all sensorsIndividual antennas for each sensorWhich approach would work better? Does anyone have experience with this? I'm particularly interested in how the NFC performance would differ between these two antenna configurations.In the version with multiple antennas, I was thin

Hello.I have a project on TouchGFX Designer, in a view (called routing_channel) i have a ScrollList with a container that i use as template.I am doing the scroll with hardware buttons, my goal is, get the index value from the items of the list and pass this value to container.How can i pass values from view to container? example:ScrollListitem1item2 < Selected this item, now i want to pass his index value to the containeritem3If my goal isn't clear enough, i can provide more details. Thanks!

Attached SVG image with vertical gradient renders correctly in TouchGFX Designer 4.24.1, but not in the simulator.In simulator the gradient is horizontal in landscape mode and vertical in portrait mode.Edit. SVG attachments are banned, but renaming it to TXT is banned too so my attachment wasn't attached."The attachment's gradient.svg.txt content type (text/plain) does not match its file extension and has been removed."So I've attached it as source code:<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" standalone="no"?> <!DOCTYPE svg PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD SVG 1.1//EN" "http://www.w3.org/Graphics/SVG/1.1/DTD/svg11.dtd"> <svg width="400" height="100" xmlns="http://www.w3.org/2000/svg" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink"> <defs> <linearGradient id="grad1" x1="0%" y1="0%" x2="0%" y2="100%"> <stop offset="0%" stop-color="yellow" /> <stop offset="50%" stop-color="green" /> <stop offset="100%" stop-color="red" /> </linearGradient> </defs

I have implemented a dual CDC-ACM USBX device, and would like to incorporate a mechanism to programmatically differentiate the two ACM's at the Host.  One mechanism would be to have each ACM carry with it it's own Serial Number, but I am at a loss as to how to do this.  The best way (I think) would be to incorporate a unique String Descriptor Table for each device.  Please give me a hint as to how to do this!

STM32 NUCLEO 64 -F411RE From SMT32Cube IDE I build & upload the following code that does nothing ,stripped everything away to show that the ST-Link is working,#include "stm32f4xx.h" int main() { while(1) { /* Do nothing */ } } This builds, uploads & does nothing, File download completeTime elapsed during download operation: 00:00:00.326 Verifying . Download verified successfully  Shutting down...Exit. I then add some code to blink LED2 on & off  /* hardware_modules.c light_init: set up GPIOA PA5 as output light_on : set PA5 high light_off : set PA5 low */ #include "hardware_modules.h" #include "stm32f4xx.h" #define GPIOAEN (1U<<0) void light_init(void) { /* Enable clk access to GPIOA */ RCC->AHB1ENR |= GPIOAEN; /* Set PA5 as an output pin */ GPIOA->MODER = (1U<<10); GPIOA->MODER &= ~(1U<<11); } void light_on(void) { /* Set PA5 output to high*/ GPIOA->ODR |= (1U<<5); }

Hello,   I am using STM32L073RBT6 controller. I want to use standby mode in my battery operated instrument. I want to use single tactile button to enter and exit standby mode. Is it possible to do??  What if I allocate another nearby pin as GPIO interrupt and short it to SYSTEM_WAKEUP pin and use it to enter in the standby mode? Thank you so much in advance for the help.  Have a great day ahead!

I am using STM32s NUCLEO-H755ZIQ board , while debugging through eclipse IDE for the M7 core the board's MCU went under low power state and LD6 which is over current led (red) is turned on.When I am connecting the board with the STM32CubeProgrammer the board is gettting detected but ST-Link is failing to flash the board.  Please help me with this problem as same thing has happend with the another NUCLEO-H755ZIQ board.Both the boards are having same problem

Hi Sir,I am reviewing the application schematic of the STUSB1600 in a dual-role Type-C design. I understand that when STUSB1600 operates as a Source, the output current can be configured through the CC_CAPABILITY_CTRL register.However, I did not see an explicit current limiting component in the provided schematic. I would like to ask whether ST has any recommended external circuit solutions to further enforce current limitation, such as a preferred power switch or current limiting IC that is compatible with this setup.Additionally, I would like to confirm: if we only configure the CC_CAPABILITY_CTRL register without any external current limiting components, would the actual output current still exceed the configured 1.5A limit in certain conditions? If so, could you provide a reference circuit diagram or recommendations for suitable current limiting components that ensure proper current regulation?

Hi, how to read the date code marking on M41T62LC6F. Example attached: 231C4 Thanks,

Can I find the manufacture year from the bulk ID? Most of ST parts only indicate the last digit of the year, sometimes we just don't know it is 2013 or 2023.

I could really need some help how to get a STM32F030T4P6 to act as a i2c slave and receive a byte of data I've spend so much time in the past week trying to solve this problem, but no progress at all The final code must act as four PCF8574 port expanders and save the received byte in a common array with one index for each of the four PCF8574 addresses. Why?.... Because it is a very easy way of getting some data from Home Assistant, via EsPHome into the MCU for further usage I need to use these 4 bytes to create some serial pulse trains thet will control some relay modules that is using a special protocol. I created a simulator to generate the I2C traffic, and it sends a write to the 4 I2C addresses with a delay of 2 seconds between packages, and then sends a read to the same 4 i2c adresses every 2 seconds, and then it starts over again Currently my code only listen on one I2C address 0x20, and I can see, with a logic analyzer, that the STM32 sends ack both after an read and a write fro

Hey All,we are not able to use the latest STM32CubeIDE 1.13.x IDE as the myST login doesn't appear (just the blue animated loading animation).In our other Eclipse-based applications we just imported our certificates using the keytool into the Java certificate store. For eclipse this seems to work as downloading stuff from the marketplace works just fine.But this one seems to be ignored by the properitary login mechanism.Any ideas how to solve this issue or debugging it further?Thank you!

i have STM32103RBT6, i want to use all three UARTs for a project. i want to use UART2 thorugh PA2 and PA3. The connection are : SB61, SB62 and SB63 are open. SB13 & SB14 are open as well. Continuity is there between SB62 & SB62 to TX on ST link (from track side) & between SB63 to RX on ST link (from track side). No continuity between  PA2 and PA3 with SB13 & SB14. can anyone tell me how to use UART2 from the PA2 and PA3? i want to use it for modbus but the transmission is failing.

Hello.An inexplicable bug occurs during the transition from startup_stm32h743xx.s to main, causing unnecessary functions to be repeatedly executed.An unknown function (I2C_IsErrorOccurred) continues to be called. It is strange that it is being invoked despite no initialization being performed. I believe that fixing this bug requires identifying the cause of the repeated calls to an unknown address, but I lack sufficient knowledge to do soI need the help of someone knowledgeable.IDE:μVision V5.40.0.0Toolchain: MDK Plus 5.40 : 5.40.0.3C Compiler: ArmClang.exe V6.22Assembler: Armasm.exe V6.22Linker/Locator: ArmLink.exe V6.22Library Manager: ArmAr.exe V6.22Hex Converter: FromElf.exe V6.22CPU DLL: SARMCM3.DLL V5.40.0.3Dialog DLL: TCM.DLL V1.56.4.0Target DLL: ULP2CM3.DLL V2.215.24.0Dialog DLL: TCM.DLL V1.56.4.0 I haven't made any particular changes to the linker, startup, or system initialization, and I am using the default address 0x80000000.

 Hello everyone,I am very new to the STM ecosystem and don’t know much about it. I am using an Ubuntu PC and trying to work with the X-NUCLEO-53L8A1 expansion board and NUCLEO-F401RE.There is a software package available for VL53L8CX to detect the presence of someone: "https://www.st.com/en/embedded-software/stsw-img042.html". I downloaded it along with the Linaro GCC toolchain from Linaro Releases. After running the Makefile and trying to start the application, I encountered the following error: "./spdkit: 1: Syntax error: Unterminated quoted string".  At first, I thought this was a command-line issue, but I suspect something else is wrong. Since the X-NUCLEO-53L8A1 communicates via I2C, I checked for available devices with: "sudo i2cdetect -y1".However, no I2C devices were detected. I also noticed that my NUCLEO board is recognized in ST-Link mode, which might be preventing proper I2C communication(i am not sure !)I’m a bit lost and not sure where to start troubleshooting.

Hi everyone,I'm working on a project with STM32CubeIDE and an STM32H747 microcontroller. I've configured the clock sources in the .ioc file as follows:High Speed Clock (HSE): BYPASS Clock SourceLow Speed Clock (LSE): Crystal/Ceramic Resonator  When I generate the code, the process appears to complete successfully, as I don't receive any error messages. However, when I check the SystemClock_Config function, I don't see the clock configurations that I set. Here is the generated code: void SystemClock_Config(void) { RCC_OscInitTypeDef RCC_OscInitStruct = {0}; RCC_ClkInitTypeDef RCC_ClkInitStruct = {0}; /** Supply configuration update enable */ HAL_PWREx_ConfigSupply(PWR_SMPS_2V5_SUPPLIES_LDO); /** Configure the main internal regulator output voltage */ __HAL_PWR_VOLTAGESCALING_CONFIG(PWR_REGULATOR_VOLTAGE_SCALE1); while(!__HAL_PWR_GET_FLAG(PWR_FLAG_VOSRDY)) {} /** Initializes the RCC Oscillators according to the specified parameters * in the RCC_OscInitTypeDe
